eflixschalkaa
Hey there! With one of my Characters i just joined the Imperial army.I made a few quests, killed some bandits and got some Crown from the middle of nowhere. It was all funny and stuff but i realised that i DIDNT get ANY gold or rewards from Tullius or the Lady AT ALL!And i need gold! Will there be gold to get? Because it really is a pain in the ass, not getting ANYTHING! Should i carry on? What can you recommend me to get lots of money in Skyrim? Reguards, eflixschakaa! Georgiegril
The civil war is not the greatest quest for making money. You will soon have enough gold to buy all of skyrim, though--the economics of the game are not particularly developed. Early on, so ways to make gold are to develop mining/crafting skills in order to upgrade and resell weapons you collect, develop alchemy skills to make/sell potions, and do work like chopping/selling wood. Oh, and thievery, of course, if your character is into that.
hardarg
Picking every flora you come across during your travels, crafting them into potions and selling them will fetch you a large amount. :O Edited March 2, 2013 by hardarg
Kayyyleb
On lower difficulties hunting dragons is pretty profitable. Dragon bones and scales + gold loot can net you around 1000 gold per dragon or more.
gaminggriffin
Yep, that's how skyrim works. you kill a hundred bandits and all you get is a pat on the back.
