Mods don't seem to work (Skyrim)

Hello, this might have been talked about in a previous discussion, but I searched a lot and can't seem to understand how to fix my issue.

I used to play Skyrim about three years ago, used Nexus Mod Manager to install many mods and it worked fine. A week ago I felt like playing again but now Nexus Mods only support Vortex, and I thought it wouldn't work much differently, so I downloaded, installed and enabled a bunch of mods (50+) and in the Vortex it says it's all good to go, but when I tried the game none of the mods seem to be running. I am very sorry if this topic was already posted but when I read about other's similar experiences I didn't understand much, I'm new to forums and understand very little about how mods and games work in a technical way.

I'm definitely doing something wrong, I don't know if it's something about the folders where the mods might be located, the game folder itself or something even sillier.

too vague. try taking a taking a video of your desktop. show the process of running your game. Open up vortexs click around show the things and stuff you think could give some help. like maybe the directory of where the folders are installed and what not.

as is you practically told a mechanic "ah yeh something's wrong with the car please fix it, (without even letting them see inside)

When you launch vortex for the first time it runs through a install process that even guides you through how to import your mods to vortexs from MOd organizer. and it was very streamlined without problems.

if you did that correctly then there could maybe be something wrong with the folder the mods should be in. but tbh it could be anything from how vague your explanation was: you practically said "hey my mods dont work anymore, tell me why" Like how am i suppose to know. I dont have telepathic communication with your computer.

What are you doing?

They don't need to take a video of their desktop.

That would require another help topic just to get them to post it.

If you don't mind, I'm waiting for them to answer my question...

"What are you doing?

are you implying they are forbbiden from making another help topic to post it?

"If you don't mind, I'm waiting for them to answer my question..."

are you implying im forbidden from answering thier question? Or that I have to wait for them to answer yours first? (and here i thought Quoteing things would have made such self-centeredness redundant)

Will you STOP hijacking the person's thread?

Also, stop posting nonsensical and vague things for them to do in order to get help.

You're telling them to do a whole bunch of unnecessary things, when it's possible that just answering my question will be enough to fix their problem.
