Idea for quest to gather followers and take over island in an invasion

Concept:

 

Collect waifu followers throughout skyrim in quests, and invade an island and capture it to be your player home estate in a lore friendly way. Once captured, The estate will have a variety of industries which will allow the player to collect passive income.

 

This quest will need a multi follower frame work, so that is unique about this quest.

 

This can be a way to play the game from the very beginning. You collect followers in a lore friendly way, and develop relationships with them. You are rescuing your followers in skyrim from exile and slavery and help them retake their homeland. This bonds you to them. The first follower is near Riverwood, and each follower gives you clues to where the next one is. After gathering the last follower, you capture a slaver ship and invade the island. The invasion of the island will be like you are running amok in Winterhold or Solitude in the civil war slaughtering everything.

 

Backstory

A small island off the northern coast of Skyrim called Vardo, has been taken over by Rygar and his large band of warriors. This island is hard to get to, and not many people go there because of the cold and storms. However, the volcanic activity, warm currents, and weather patterns, make a surprisingly temperate area so far north. The Jarl of Vardo and many of his family and supporters have been killed, and many of his Housecarls, their wives or children, were wither sold into slavery and sent to Skyrim or escaped to Skyrim. The Dragonborn will gather the survivors in Skyrim who had escaped and enslaved, and train and arm them so they can retake Vardo. The Dragonborn will then become the Jarl of Vardo, and have land providing him with land, money, resources, and followers.

 

 

Gather followers:

You will be gathering 10 followers: 3 melee, 3 archers, 4 spell casters

 

1) Name, hair and height, Race, Class, Location, Story

  1. Andawen, brown hair 5'8, Bosmer, Archer, Riverwood, Rescue from bandits in cave near Riverwood. Family killed by Usurper. She escaped the slavers in Skyrim and now wanders Skyrim seeking to rescue others from Vardo. She believes the daughter of the Jarl is enslaved as a gladiator near Whiterun. She is weak now but has potential to be a good archer.
  2. Hildegaard, red hair and 6'3 ft, Nord, Barbarian, Whiterun, Daughter of the former Jarl, Tall, strong, and Red-Sonja like found by cart with master and guards near Whiterun. She is used as a gladiator to win money for her master. Free her and maker her follower. Her support will make it possible to recruit others. She believes Jeayn her former housecarl is in Markarth
  3. Jeayn, blonde hair and 5'8, Breton, Healer, Markarth, Found in Markarth inn. She has been searching with other former housecarls who were looking for Hildegaard. The others are in Falkreath and Riften.
  4. Roxana, black hair and 5'6, Imperial, Mage Falkreath, Found in Falkreah inn. Former court mage. She has been searching with other former housecarls who were looking for Hildegaard. The others are in Markarth and Riften.
  5. Jura, Brown and 5'10, Nord, Assasin archer, Riften, Found in Riften inn. She has been searching with other former housecarls who were looking for Hildegaard. The others are in Falkreath and Markarth. Heard of daughter of former Housecarl near Windhelm working as mercenary.
  6. Larking, blonde hair and 6'0, Nord, Warrior, Windhelm, Daughter of former Housecarl, escaped and now working as a mercenary. Rescue from bandit camp near Windhelm.
  7. Maren, brown hair and 5'10, Mage, Nord, Winterhold, Sold into slavery to mage in Winterhold. Found in small hut in mountains.
  8. Yara, platinum and 6'0, Crusader, Nord, Dawnstar, Sold into slavery to vampires. Rescue.
  9. Dorthe, White hair and height, Necromancer, Nord, Morthol, Sold into slavery but escaped. Now lives in a mage hut in the wild.
  10. Laira, blonde and 5'11, Altmer, Hunter, Solitude, Adopted daughter of Jarl. Sold to slavery to Altmer nobles. Rescue form Altmer hunting party camp in the woods. She tells info that slavers make trips to Vardo from a ship north of solitude along the coast.

 

After gathering followers, attack slavers, capture their ship and free more slaves from Vardo who allow you to take over and crew the boat. The boat will take you to Vardo. You are encouraged to level up and get supplies before going to Vardo because the battle will be hard.

 

 

Take over Island

Part of the fun of this quest is the idea of invasion and slaughtering Castle Defenders and taking over a place just like how the Vikings took over parts of England.

 

  • The boat brings you to a dock outside of the main Castle. Where you are immediately attacked.
  • While killing them, a large amount of warriors come from the castle and fight you in a pitched battle outside the castle, and the castle door is closed.
  • After winning the battle, you rush the castle door and destroy it. You can just attack the door until breaks and you rush in an destroy all the guards.
  • Civilians who will be loyal to you afterwards are locked in their homes and wont be participating in the battle. Civilians left in the street who are family and followers of the Usurper and will be helping the guards, or running around so you can slaughter them if you want.
  • After killing the Usurper, you become the new Jarl. You find people in the Dungeon and can free them and they can work for you. They were jailed by the Usurper for disloyalty but will work for you. They can earn you money among other perks later on.

 

 

Player Home/Estate Description:

The player castle home you capture will be tailor made to have large waifus, and will keep you occupied by improving it to gain income.

  • Has large bed in the middle of huge room - great for camera angles. Fireplace in middle of the room.
  • Main bedroom has other beds for waifus
  • Bathing beauties pool style
  • Dungeon Jail - huge area, run vampire
  • Mage room- operated by court mage
  • Map room - allows you to fast travel
  • Treasury - where passive income is deposited
  • NPC staff

  • Captain of the Guards
