Mod Concept- Save Converter: Play as your past heroes

So basically, my idea is a application that loads a save file from one of the TES games, reads the information on your character (including skill levels, what items are in your inventory, race, appearance etc.) and converts it as best a it can to function with a different game. Obviously, it wouldn't be 100% identical because of differences between the games, but it could be close. This way, if you had a really great character in Oblivion or Morrowind that you had developed and roleplayed with a lot, you could bring it into Skyrim. Or vice versa. For example, if your character in Morrowind had marksman leveled well and had a Dwarven Crossbow equipped, then in Skyrim the created character would have high leveled Archery and also have a Dwarven Crossbow. Even better, it could include optional compatibility with various mods that bring elements of one game into another, like Crossbows of Cyrodiil for Oblivion or Morrowind Armor for Skyrim for even better compatibility. Obviously, there would need to be some kind of overhaul to how the game starts, and I suppose this would render some NPCs irrelevant if your character was already level 50 from the start. But I'm sure with some imagination it would still be fun. I don't know much at all about more advanced modding though, so this would be on someone else to actually create. Any fans of past TES interested in making this?

This can all be done with the console.

player.advlevel raises your level

player.addperk [perk ID] gives you perks (although this may take some time since you need to add each perk one by one)

player.setav [skill] [skill level] sets the level of the skill

player.additem [item ID] [quantity]

There are also crossbows in dawnguard if you're worried about that. And usually there are mods that can emulate weapons and items from morrowind or oblivion.

And you can also make your character look as close as you can to your oblivion/morrowind character.

This is a lot of work but honestly probably a lot less work than trying to make a mod that does this.

If you really wanted your character in skyrim, you could go through with this heavy character creation process, but in my opinion, its not very lore-friendly for your character to be alive after 200 years (unless he/she is a mer)

And honestly, if you're THIS attached to your character from oblivion/morrowind, you might need some help lmao. I have a s***-ton of level 40-50 characters that I never play anymore and would not miss if I accidentally deleted them. I usually just play one character until I've exhausted all roleplay capabilities (usually at around lvl 30-40) and then I make a new character, never looking back.
