When i switch into Third Person i can move around but as soon I switch back to First Person im at the position the bug appered at, even after loading a Save File im at the exact position i stucked before.

I would be very thankful if someone can give me a hint which mod could cause this Bug.

I have the same problem it looks like. I think it is a camera / killmove mods incompatibilities. Probably a script related bug even though scripts seems fine after the problem occurs.
In my case it happen in my testings at the beginning of the game, right after I kill the giant with the companions. It happens every time, even if I load a save where the bug have not appeared yet, I got "teleported".

Well, I made a try without "PC head tracking and voice type" while writing this post and It just worked. Probably a conflict with true directional movement or another one. Need more testing but it looks promising.

@SledgeHammerOne, I don't know the specific cause, (many speculations about it them though), but the solution is usually to fast travel to a crafting station, then use the craft station (you don't have to actually use it, just enter it fully, then wait a sec then exit the crafting menu). The introduction/exit animation sequences acting on the player from the tool will usually reset your player views and associated (pan, wheel-zoom etc) player controls.

Personally, although I'm not intimate with the programming, not even familiar with this stuff (though familiar with many other programming environments), I suspect there's a "player refresh" subroutine/module/function/whatever that gets abnormally terminated under certain circumstance. It can result in failure of pan, rotate, zoom, player movement (running in place or a general inability to control direction of movement or even *no movement at all without any animation of movement), tool or other interaction, invisibility, weapon status indeterminacy (like when your bow suddenly shoots sideways), etc

Now, if you're unable to interact with things like crafting stations, it's possible (likely) that you were doing something that locked TAI to an off state, but for whatever reason, failed to reset it to an ON state following whatever event turned it off. An unexpected attack can cause this on occasion. (not sure if this is in that refresh subcode, but still suspect it's all wrapped together) So for this one, there's another thing you can try

in console mode, issue the command player.tai.

If it returns with "player AI is on" (or something like that, can't recall the exact wording), then you've solved that particular issue.

If it returns an "Off" comment, issue the command once more to turn it back on. (this would indicate that whatever is causing an issue is not TAI having been turned off at some point but not turned back on, and you need to search further for whatever's causing it, try rebooting the game, fallback to an earlier save, etc)

So, if your views are wonky, try using a crafting station. (*note: if you're totally unable to move, you may need to get very creative about how you get your player to that crafting station and positioned to open it. or punt)

If you can't interact with tools or chests or even vendors, try the tai thing.

And if your bow is cockeyed, try this: go to 3rd person. Jump. wait until your feet hit the ground. equip and de-equip your weapon. Now re-equip. Your bow should aim correctly now. Wonky bows...and weapons that don't unequip when asked) are often caused by that floaty state the player can sometimes exhibit during a jump, or during a sneak mode roll, notably *while a weapon is equipped.

Failing all that, punt to one of the more "draconian" solutions. (try rebooting the game, fallback to an earlier save, etc)

PS> sorry for the long wind. I guess I'm bored.

PS> Hey @freemanisdead....did giant do one of his massive foot stomps or club hits close to you when CTD occurrs? I have an "experiential" feeling about enemy-delivered stun level events (even when they don't actually hit the mark) and a relation to some of these abnormal terminations, whether they end in CTD or in player "paraplegia". Maybe not all, but many (giant stomps, certain draghur shouts, sometimes a dragon's blast, a troll's whomp, a thalmor or wild elf's lightning magic blast or cult member's fireball, etc.) Keep an eye out for the foreshadow event of the failure, like ... what happened just before you CTD'd or went paralyzed or your view got screwed up.

Thanks for the reply but I will try to be more specific… It's kind of difficult to explain those things in english ^^

I only found one link with a video with the kinda same problem "https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/p3ieso/whenever_i_go_into_first_person_my_camera_is/" (I don't know if I can post this but…)

It happen few seconds after the giant is done, I'm almost sure he did all his attacks but no problem at those moments. One time I think the bug appeared even as I was killed by the companions (oops) when I reloaded the game (the save get corrupted even without experiencing the bug beforehand). Then Aela talk to me and few seconds after first person is stuck.

In fact I don't CTD but my character is unable to move but only in first person, the screen is just trembling as I try to move. Jumping doesn't help either. As for the third person view, everything is fine. I can go to the opposite side of the map, even reload a save made prior to the bug appearance, and I got "teleported" back to where the bug started when I switch to first person. Sometime not at the same "level", into the ground.

I found something else, when I reload an old save after being hurt (low health bar), my health bar isn't full even if it should (I was full heath at the time I made the save). And the save are globally "corrupted" until I restart the game => save works fine (until I kill the giant again).

I still need to confirm this but it looks like the problem is solved by deactivating the "head tracking" features of "PC Head tracking and voices". [sometimes I get an animation bug with my equipped sword but it's probably something else and easily fixable (reequip item).]

Yes, as I said, certain attacks, even if they don't actually hit, can cause the player to, for lack of a better word, destabilize, and that doesn't mean necessarily "destabilizing" immediately,. often happens just afterwards. I don't know why. but it does.

Again, try fast traveling to a workstation and fire it up. The exit animation once you're done in the tool will normally reset your player's broken view and movement features. If it doesn't, the best I can offer is to exit the game, reload the game, and then open an older save from before you experienced this issue.

Not to necro this, however, I have found to have the same problem in 2023. It's happened various times, with various different situations. 90% of the time it deals with weapon sheathing and doing a action after such as a Hunterborn animation in first person. Resulting in durring first person I am only able to look up and down. When attempting to move or look left or right it moves a hair and recoils back as if you're pulling on a rubber band and relaxing it quickly, but never further than a few centimeters. Third person I can move around, sometimes swapping back and fourth causes my weapons or what not(If I have anything equipped on my back) to slide across the floor as my character. However I can't interact, swapping cameras don't work. Solution I have found so far is saving on the spot, reloading, and waiting a few minutes. Granted it is temporary. Also there is a chance I may load in under or to the side of where I was originally, outside the map. Sometimes you can run back in bounds, sometimes you may have to toggle clipping to bet back in bounds.

I will say, it's acting as if animations with weapons could be messed up, thus the above might be the culpret and bringing this up to help those in the future.

If you are using weapon(on my end at least) animation mods. It could be smart to reinstall and redeploy them. If the problem persists, only other idea I have is the nuclear option is disable all mods, fresh reinstall, and troubleshoot from there. As someone who's running a heavily modded Skyrim, even I don't like doing that but it has to be done sometimes. Especially given my current playthrough is nearing 500 mods.(468, and that's after trimming about 10+ mods out and replacing older mods for newer ones that need less to run and give similar/better effects.) And yes, I know about mod stability past the 300 mark.
