sacred2 Any way to adjust the camera centering?

I've got the 2.2 enhanced edition mod and the community patches installed for the GOG version of Sacred 2 Gold. Almost everything is perfect, barring a few bugs here and there and some crashes, but my biggest problem with the game is the camera position. I've set the sliders to allow the maximum zoom out and in levels, and also to remove the automatic scaling on zoom. But the camera is too low. My character is always slightly above the middle of the screen, when I'd like them moderately below the middle. If you want to see ahead of you, you have to move the camera nearly to the ground, and then there's too much ground in view. Is there any way to adjust the camera centering to allow for the character being below the middle of the screen, so that you see less of what's behind you and more of what's ahead of you while moving?
