MysticHaven Posted January 11, 2021 Share Posted January 11, 2021 (edited) So um, I ran into some problems on my seconds playthrough of the awe mazing Mass Effect 2 (which is aging now but is still my top game to play right now.) It's definitely my fault, I'm just trying to get some help from some smarter people out there if possible. What I did: Basically I downloaded the ME2 cheat console mod from Nexus because I love the RP aspects of ME2 not the collecting resources aspects. It worked perfectly. I also added the ME2 INI Fixer as it's required for the above mod to run. (link just in case: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect2/mods/3?tab=description) Then I decided that I wanted the DLCs for ME2 but as I have the game on Steam, my Cerberus Network Key refused to work, and I didn't know if I bought the other DLCs that they would either. I did some research and found this https://steamcommunity.com/app/24980/discussions/0/1742229167209908670/. Thinking back on it now, this was probability my mistake as the comments throw some shade on the doc I downloaded. I did what steps I found in that post and successfully downloaded the DLCs I wanted. I get to the end of the Kasumi's Loyalty Mission and I get the end screen and click close report and get ready for the next step against the Collectors right? Well - No. The game when to a black screen and refused to load, refused to close (until I used Task Manager to end it), and I became sad. I tried to go through the mission again and again with no success, always crashes at the same point, always crashes in the same way. So if there are any people that know more than the little I know about files and mods, that might be able to help, thank you for viewing this and thank you if you leave any tips for me to try out. If you need me to give any more info, if it helps, I'm perfectly willing. I just really want to continue my ME2 playthrough.
