Dohkaviin Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 Hi, I was playing Skyrim and installed some CBBE mod and I notied something wierd on some redguard female. Sure, she was black (no racism intended) but when I took a closer look of her body and undressed her, HER SKIN WAS TOTAL BLACK. I mean, wtf? Her hands are normal, her face is normal but her body is total darkness. So, I went out to other female NPCs and they too have had this total black skin syndrome. This hasn't happened before and I saw CBBE bodies before but this time, I just saw it like that. I didnt use NMM since I'm a manual guy and I need know what files to uninstall in my game before run it so I dont have to reinstall the whole thing. Now, anyone have any idea? MShoap13 Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 Solid black objects are usually caused by a missing normal map, though can be caused by running out of vRAM. I'd suggest comparing the contents of the CBBE download to your \Data\Textures\ directory and making sure you copied everything over properly. If it turns out you haven't missed anything, feel free to use the contents of the download as a reference for what needs to be deleted to uninstall CBBE... fiewiel Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 (edited) Install the default cbbe body http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666 (I think there is some skinny variant too somewhere)it will copy the missing textures.Overwrite with your cbbe mod (?) Make sure that your loadorder is correct. If you use custom skins (thats an example) load it after the cbbe body. Another black skin! :( This is really sad. I think it's a bug or maybe skyrim is overloaded or some other whatnot. Can the original maker explain this? How about reading the FAQ? =P They aren't there just to be pink and shiny; they're there to help you.Let's see...FAQ Q16a. You're out of VRAM. Upgrade your computer, or use the lower res textures. Although when I installed bella's textures, the sewers in riften seem to have these yello textures and some violet walls. And sometimes, in the lighting, the head becomes yellow and loses hair, but when I move out of the light, it gets fixed, so the only problem I have iss from CBBE. Lisnpuppy Posted March 27, 2013 Share Posted March 27, 2013 You need to try and use the lower resolution textures...also if you are using many replacement textures or mods (eyes, hair especially hair) then its not going to run on your system it seems. Also the pink and shiny reference was to the readme and tips not your reported issue. As in the information provided on these mods is not just there to be pretty its there to read.
