Well, iv'e started using the G.E.C.K to mod as of recently and am currently unaware of how to upload a custom texture for a weapon mod...
Iv'e checked the 'Art and sound' section but to no avail...
Could somepony please give me the info on how?

You have to use NifSkope AFAIK.

Unless you're able to change textures on the model page in the GECK, but I'm not sure...

Nope, you don't. I can take this one.

  1. Create a new texture set in the GECK (Miscellaneous -> Texture Set).
  2. Load your texture files for the diffuse / normal / environment maps.
  3. Go to your weapon entry in the GECK. Click the "Edit" button besides the model path, under the Art & Sound tab.
  4. Add your custom texture to the object by right-clicking the "New Texture" field and selecting your texture set.
  5. Done.

Best of luck!
