Nexus Mod Manager Issue

Not quite sure where to post this, but I'm trying here.

 

So last night my Nexus Mod Manager was working fine without any issues, however when I decided to open it this morning it suddenly started to bug out.

 

I attempted to open the shortcut first and got this message:

Its in danish, but it pretty much told me that the shortcut is no longer functioning, so I went into the folder to find the original NexusClient.exe

My version is NOT Illegal, I bought the game (if that matters).

 

When I attempt to open the .exe I get this message:

Once again in Danish, but it is telling me to "Choose" a program to open the .exe in, what should I do to fix this?

Okay, I fixed it.

 

I simply just re-downloaded NMM (WITHOUT UNINSTALLING NMM), it didn't overwrite or corrupt any files (so far) but simply just made me a new .exe.

 

The corrupted (or ruined?) .exe is still not working, but the new one is.
