Fallout New Vegas General Modding/Mods Setting Up Comprehensive Guide

NOTE: This guide has been tested with the Steam version of the game, but it should work with the GOG version as well
The first thing you must read is this AWESOME guide (this guide does not belong to me, ALL rights belong to it's respective authors) for installation of the main Fallout New Vegas utility files - https://vivanewvegas.github.io/utilities.html - , now once you've read it and feel more or less accustomed to the installation process, get all the necessary files (once again - these mods and patches do not belong to me, ALL rights to every mod belong to each individual creator/all the creators of these mods) listed below from the respective links:

1) NVSE - https://github.com/xNVSE/NVSE/releases ;
6) Stewie Tweaks+Stewie Tweaks INI - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66347?tab=files ;
8 ) UIO - User Interface Organizer - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57174?tab=files ;
9) The Mod Configuration Menu+MCM BugFix - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42507?tab=files ;
12) WryeBash (for merging leveled lists in mods) - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/64580?tab=files

1) NVSE - copy ALL the files and folders that you see to your root FNV folder - the directory is shown below

steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas whatever
2) JIP LN NVSE Plugin - copy the `plugins` folder into your
Fallout New Vegas whatever/Data/NVSE/
directory, rename the folder to `Plugins`;
3) JohnyGuitar NVSE, FNV ModLimitFix, NVAC Anti Crash, NVTF Tick Fix - copy ALL the files that you find within the folders to the directory shown below
Data/NVSE/Plugins
4) FNV 4GB Patch - copy the `.exe` file to your `root FNV folder` -
steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas whatever
directory and run the .exe file from within your root folder;
5) Vortex Mod Manager - install the Vortex Mod Manager, get acquainted with it's UI, register on Nexus mods forum and do other miscellaneous stuff, when you're ready, do this:
6) Stewie Tweaks, Stewie Tweaks INI - copy MANUALLY the files from both `nvse/plugins` directories within the Stewie Tweaks zipped files to your directory below
Data/NVSE/Plugins
now, delete the `nvse` folder from the Stewie Tweaks zip file and install the rest of the files via Vortex by pressing `Mods, Install From File` and finding the `Stewie Tweaks zip file` from which you've just deleted `nvse` folder, install it and you're golden
You can edit the Stewie Tweaks and options to your liking via editing `nvse_stewie_tweaks.ini` file, you can read what each option does here https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66347?tab=description ;
7) Unofficial Patch NVSE, UIO - User Interface Organizer, YUP fixes - download these via Vortex by pressing within Vortex `Mods, Install From File` and finding the corresponding zip files;
8 ) The Mod Configuration Menu, MCM BugFix - download these once again via Vortex, but first you download the Mod Configuration Menu file, then MCM BugFix, now Vortex will complain of conflicting files - open the `conflict/manage rules` menu in Vortex and make sure that MCM BugFix is set to load after Mod Configuration Menu;
9) NVHR - you'll find the `NVHR Installation Guide` within the attached files, follow the guide and it will work;
10) enbdevNewVegasPatch - you'll find the `Enbdev Installation Guide` within the attached files, follow the guide and it will work;
11) WryeBash (for merging lists) - install WryeBash from the link above, watch this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3tPQKDStTc by Dirty Weasel Media - all rights to the video belong to him, read the `WryeBash Guide` - it is provided in the attached files, I suggest to untick everything except for `Leveled Lists`, if it tells you to disable the bashed mods - DO NOT DO IT, just tick all the mods Leveled Lists, make a Bash Patch and enable it without disabling any other mods
Enjoy Fallout New Vegas and the mods' galore that our community is working on with great dedication and diligence, hope that this guide is clear and comprehensive enough :-)
