A fast question about mod index number

Ok so I got a new mod but it requires I check tor "index Number of mod". I downloaded it manually off a site and added it to Nexus as it says..then:

Once activated, look at the index number of the mod.
For example if the index number shows 5 then to spawn the items in game
just replace the xx with 05 so it would be 057777b6

How do I check the index number? Thank you for your help....I'm really wanting to try out this armor mod badly.

And yes I tried Google, but it didn't help. And on "Plugin" tab on NMM it does not show this mod's esm or esp added. But it is inside Skyrim game installation data folder.

EDIT: I got it working now. This thread can be deleted/locked.

Slightly different question about mod index. Couldn't find an answer just anywhere else.

Does it have something to do with the data of a savegame?

For example:

Lets say that there are mods A.esp and B.esp, that doesn't affect one another and, thus, can be placed both AB and BA way and still work.

Situation # 1: new game started with AB order, played, saved. Then, order changes to BA for whatever the reason.

Situation # 2: new game started with AB order, played, saved. Then, C.esm is installed. That m makes Mod Organiser to put the mods in either CAB or CBA order.

Question is: will it cause any troubles (like, enlarging your CTD chance by X cm %) because of the fact that mod indexes will be changed?

Switching mod order doesn't inherently cause problems. The game will be OK if mods switch positions. The only problems would be actual conflicts caused by the fact that mods loaded later always win over those loaded earlier. If you switch mod positions and they have conflicts you'll be picking different winners and losers. But that might be a good thing if you're trying to fix a problem.
