Vortex not working

At least 75% of the times this piece of s*** doesn't work.

The UI loads but it doesn't react to any mouse input.

The only way to end the program is by right clicking

the task bar icon and ending it there.

There are three games and the epic launcher it's looking for

which it can't find. That are the ONLY errors in the LOG file.

Last two lines of the log file:

Mon, 01 Feb 2021 11:30:21 GMT - info: sass compiled in 2090ms
Mon, 01 Feb 2021 11:34:04 GMT - info: clean application end

The "clean application end" is ending the POS via task bar.

I would love to upload the logfile but I am not permitted to

"upload this kind of file".

Version: Vortex Version 1.3.22#

Windows 10 64bit

Turn off your Antivirus program, and Install Vortex again.

When things like this happen, it's usually somebody's antivirus preventing Vortex from fully installing.

If you use Windows Defender, turn off "Controlled Folder Access", that also prevents Vortex from installing properly.

I don't think that is the problem.

Just had the PC in energy safe mode for around an hour.

Woke it up again and logged in.

Immediately started Vortex again and it worked.

But then there was an extension update which requires a restart

of vortex.

And yes, after the restart of Vortex it stopped working again.

So why does it only work right after logging into windows??

Do you use any extensions? If so try disabling them.

I don't know if Vortex uses any of the extension.

How do I get rid of every single one of them without having to disable them one by one??

You only need to disable the ones with a "Remove" button next to them.

Disabled all extensions I think I don't need and it still shows the same behaviour.

First time you run Vortex after logging in: no problems.

EVERY time after that: not working.
