CasperTimor123 Posted February 7, 2021 Share Posted February 7, 2021 I have been playing SSE with SKSE64 (both on the latest version) for a few days with the same mods installed, and have never had any issues. Today, when I started the game through the SKSE launcher, it first started normally, with the Bethesda logo, but then just got stuck in a black screen, with the Windows 10 taskbar flickering on the lower side. I can still hear the main menu music, and hear the main menu button sounds if I move my cursor around, but the screen is just black. If I try to select the uppermost option (so the "continue" button) by sound alone, and then press enter two times to select it, the game just crashes to desktop. I haven't installed any new mods or done any changes to the game that could cause the problem, and Vortex doesn't show any incompatibility problems, nor there are any that I'm aware of. I've tried reinstalling SKSE64, updating my graphics driver, restarting my computer, alt+tab away from the game and then back again etc, all to no avail. Does anyone have any idea of what the problem might be? I haven't found any previous topic with this specific problem, only regular CTDs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
