What this mod includes


A massive, detailed and ambient City/Dungeon

A few unique(ish) armor sets that I've made for myself over the years but wish to include


Interesting creatures, monsters, and bosses(script-free)


A LOT of reading material





STORY


(Ignoring that I'm terrible at summaries)



You arrive at the port-city of Freeport, hot on the trails of Coricano, Archangel of the Rodari.


Freeport has been struck with a mysterious plague, that has ravaged the people of the quiet port-city;


Bringing famine, werewolves and locusts.



It's up to you to get to the bottom of this mystery and put an end to it once and for all, with or without Coricano.




Along your journeys you will encounter many journal entries. Here are a few snippets.


Plenty of obvious references to my favorite games.


 


The Witchwood



This region's flora, it's fauna... It's very nature.. Feels off. I'm not sure why but I feel very uneasy out here, in the Witchwood. The very trees seem to move in an attempt to entrap me, entangle me if you will.



I walk for what seems like 10 minutes in any given direction, yet it seems I've gone in a circle. The distant stained glass from Freeport's walls never seeming to get further or closer. This forest is covered in silky strands, webbing but certainly from no spider; yet, I cannot find any evidence of any kind of insects, barring the stands!


 


 


Abandoned



This fever is getting worse, and I'm starting to feel very lethargic. A slow, quiet walk up the long stairs to the shacks above my lab felt like taking the pilgrimage to High Hrothgar! The houses are empty, meals still on the table. Very strange, like the residents were just taken from their seats during lunch. No signs of struggle, maybe whoever did it has some way of paralyzing.. A serum? No, not likely... Gas maybe? No, Not that either! I'm sitting here fully conscious.. Maybe bolts, tipped with paralyzing venom, or perhaps simply a spel- I'm getting off on a tangent.

 


 


The Hunt


Apparently, it is a religious purge of the city's 'sin'. Held every year by the church and the townsfolk, the politicals wanting no part in any of it. I've heard many different stories on it, however.



Some saying that it is a beasthunt, sprouted from the old beasts of the Witchwood that infected man and in turn made them into grotesque monsters. Writhing in pain, lurched down on all fours like a dog, yet strangely no fur. Only that their skin starts to drip away like hot wax, revealing muscle and tendons.


Of which story is true however, will require a lot more research. The monsters, I can say are a reality. You can see them amassing outside of the castle walls, but I have a rising suspicion that the evangelicals are involved in this...




PROGRESS

(Because hey, that's what matters right?)


I started on this directly after finishing my Oblivion Dungeoncrawl, Zorhaus, which was a very good learning experience (I guess?) back 7-8 years ago.

Since then I've made(and remade, at least 3 times each on several of them when they didn't meet my standards, which over the years got higher and higher)

at least 20 cells, 2 large exteriors, 2-3 highly unique areas/concepts(for Skyrim,) several armor sets, unique npcs/beasties, and a few weapons.


Current ETA is hovering around 3-6 months, as of Feb 9th, 2021.
