Aurilius Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 I play Skyrim almost exclusively. So far I have logged over 2500 hours in Skyrim. I have had CTD events and removed the offending mods to correct. I have had a stable game going for a long time now when tonight I heard a sharp crack/click through my headphones and then all sound stopped. I tried reloading including earlier saves but I have no sound. When I swing a weapon I hear a static tick but that is all. I have great sound in Windows mode including ITunes. Has this happened to anyone else? Did some part of the code become corrupted? Can I fix it without wiping and reinstalling Skyrim and being forced to create a new character? My current character has about 1800 hours on him and I would hate to start again. Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Aurilius Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
