dubiousintent Posted February 16, 2021 Share Posted February 16, 2021 (edited) Most probably OP (and likely you) tried to install NVSE through a "mod manager" instead of "manually" as directed. The reason this is a problem is that mod managers assume their mods need to be installed in the game "Data" folder and internally the mod package contains any "standard" subfolder paths required (such as "Meshes" and "Textures" without any preceding path names). NVSE goes into a new (self-named) folder, which the managers (being generalists designed for different games) don't know how to handle.
