Sick of Vortex!

What is the point of this useless pile? It still doesn't work, error after error, problem after problem and doesn't do anything NMM couldn't do more conveniently.

I've "fixed" this hardlink deployment issue or whatever it is twice now, and it's back again. And the fixes... why tell me about them if they're not available? Wasted all that time downloading and installing mods only to close and reopen Vortex to get the same f*#@ing problem again.

Downloads fail without any warning until you install them. Multi-part files get seen as the same file even with a different name. Changing your load order is unreliable and awkward. In fact the whole app is unreliable and inconvenient.

Thanks for making a s#*! day even shittier.

As @1ae0bfb8 has already said, post your issues in the Vortex support forum. There is abundant expert help available there.

In the three years that I've used Vortex, it has performed superbly with only a few minor hiccups along the way. Vortex has an array of very useful features that far outstrip any mod manager that I've ever used.

I bet the reason the Hardlink Issue keeps coming back is because you don't hit "APPLY" after you fix the problem.

It's more like a design flaw, vortex uses thousands of mods and allows user to create a custom list of mods with custom load orders and different options, I'm pretty bad in maths but its smthn like O(n!**n!**n!**n!),

means it would kill an entire quantum pc cluster and you would run out of hard drives on the planet to store the actual integer of possible fkups.

What vortex actually can is just to watch for conflicts on what the mod is actually touching and its doing that, but the game behaviour still can be totally random when combining some mods together in some unlucky order. The only solution to this pain would be a modlist system with a very limited freedom, they say something like this is already on the way for vortex (but it looks like they can't deploy even a beta of this feature since like 3 yrs so don't get your hopes too high).
