FXM420
Okay, so I have multiple questions, just skip to them if you don't want to read the details I have the Extensible Follower Framework and Spouses Can Live Anywhere mods for Skyrim, both of which makes it able for your followers and spouse to live in custom houses. I finally found a house I like (The Shrouded Lair mod, to be more specific) but it has loading doors. Actually, it has teleporters, but I assume it works the same as loading doors (if not please correct me). There's the entrance room/dining room, a library, an alchemy garden, enchanting office, etc, all of which you access through these teleporters. In some of the house mods I download that have NPC's living in them, the NPC's heads are different colours than their bodies. MY QUESTIONS ARE: 1: Can spouses/followers travel through loading doors if you tell them to live in a house you downloaded, or will they wander around in the room you told them to live in? (Example, if you need to go through a loading door to get to the bedroom, will my spouse and followers do that when they want to sleep?) 2. Same question as 1 but with teleporters instead. 3. If they are too dumb to go through the loading doors/teleporters, is there a mod that will let them? 4. How do I make it so that the NPCs in the houses I downloaded have the same skin colour on their head and body? (I tried uninstalling better females and amazing smooth females but that doesn't work, using only one at a time doesn't either. I use the dimonized UNP body and the erect version of Better Males) 5. What are some other good house mods? (Needs enough beds for some followers to live there, a few merchant NPC's with matching heads and bodies, and preferably no loading doors if my spouse and followers can't go through them.) Also, I'm a vampire, so a house with a few vampire thralls for me to feed on would be great. PS: I have Ironwood Homestead, if you were going to suggest that. It's a lovely house but the NPC's heads are different colours than their bodies. Edited April 24, 2013 by FXM420
Jokerine
Grey faces huh? Do they? I'm quite certain the textures and meshes are included in the .bsa since I haven't had anybody complain about those. I even deleted the loose files from my own local copy and played around with the .bsa only while testing, and they were working. If that bothers you, fixing it in the CK is really easy. I could do an update later if I broke them while fixing other stuff, though.

The only one that's normal is the guild priest.
Jokerine
Hm, are you using any texture replacers or something, then? I have no idea of what that's about. I don't use any so I can't really help you there, in my game and in screenshots of other people using the mod I've seen I haven't spotted or heard about that issue... FXM420
I use better females, amazing smooth females, and better males. Uninstalling them didn't fix it either, just made them look uglier lol. It isn't just with Ironwood Homestead though, it's happened with several house mods that have NPC's. I use the dimonized UNP body if that has anything to do with it. All the vanilla NPC's are fine. Edited April 24, 2013 by FXM420
Jokerine
I see. Well, as I said, I have no idea of what the problem could be. The races are set to vanilla and they all use the default stats, so perhaps it could be the body you listed last, but I'm not sure. Sorry I cannot be of any more help. Hope someone can help you with your other questions  Edited April 24, 2013 by Jokerine

saurusmaximus
I can't help you with the body/head mismatch issue, but I can answer some other questions. Generally, NPC's will NOT go into a new load area (through a load door/teleporter) on their own. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a mod for that, but I'm not familiar with one. My favorite house mod is Candlepond Ranch, it is multi-adoption friendly, and I believe it has room for 12 followers. Skyfall Estate is good too, but it was a little big for my taste.
