rmm200
I know the Gamepass rules are "different", but not sure how different.I suspect they follow the XBox rules. No code allowed out of the sandbox. This would mean no SKSE or F4SE or mods that use them. Anyone know for sure? Gamepass is becoming a much bigger thing with the Bethesda acquisition. Last time I tried to mod a game pass game, the game was put in an encrypted folder that was treated as a hard drive and I could NOT access any part of it. I wish people would do a damn search for GAMEPASS or GAME PASS, before posting threads asking the same thing over and over about Skyrim SE on GAME PASS
rmm200
Microsoft has an extensive writeup on enabling mods on a PC Gamepass: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/game-setup-and-play/enable-pc-game-mods Unfortunately - it does not say anything particularly useful - like what types of mods are allowed. No mention of SKSE or F4SE.It does say mod managers should work. HadToRegister
If your mod manager doesn’t run and Windows says you don’t have appropriate permissions to access the item: Make sure you’ve clicked on enable mods for the specific game from within the Xbox app. Make sure your mod manager isn’t stored in the ModifiableWindowsApps folder. Mod managers will fail to run if they’re placed in the game's folder under ModifiableWindowsApps.
