Upgradeable breezehome storage system

Good Morning,

Upgradeable breezehome is a very good mod. Unfortunately not ported yet to SSE.

What I especially like about it, is the storage system in the basement. You store e.g. your smithing raw materials in various chests and as soon as you start smithing, they are temporarily added to your inventory.

When you are done, they are stored in the chests again. Same works for alchemy and enchanting.

Beside the fact that I would like to see that mod ported to SSE (which is of course up to the modder. ) I would like to know if there are mods in SSE with a similar system. Are there other housemods or house overhauls with the same option. Or is there perhaps a mod that makes it possible to adjust chests or other storage containers to function in the same way?

KInd regards,

I too like the upgradable Breezehome mod, and when I switched oiver to SSE I was very disappointed to find out I can't use it. So I am also looking for a sub for it. Can't seem to find one I like as well as that one though.

I forgot the name but there is a mod with which you can customize your containers. Select what you can autosort in it e.g. Also convenient but still not the system the same as in Breezehome

Automatic Item Storage (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8224=) has the feature you are looking for (and many more).

Hi, your link has a bad character at the end the link should be

And PS. very cool! I don't know how I missed this one, but it's on my list of "essential mods" now. Finally I can dump the umpteen thousand weight units of crafting goods from my player without trying to figure out which container I used for what.

And if I am right, the "workstation link" option works like the system in Breezehome upgradeable. If so, then this is what I was looking for as well. ! Thank you!!

  • 2 months later...

Update: in my game it does not work whatsoever....I wonder want went wrong here...

idk do you have any/all listed dependencies installed?

Afaik you have to drop an item that comes with the mod into a given container FIRST, to initialize it as an enhanced storage container.

fyi, fwiw, once installed and a container is initialized, chests, urns etc should respond to triple, double or single clicks. single click just opens the storage item like one would normally expect it to work. double click is where actions will take place (autostore all, keep 3, keep 10, and so forth), and triple I think opens the configuration. they can be configured to accept select items from your inventory when the semi-automated storage operation is triggered, and they can be renamed.

Not all stations are supported. For instance, I have a spinning loom in one custom (LeanneG) player home that can't be linked to a storage container (milk churn too I think, and possibly the special cooking pot for soaps) . However, all smithing, enchanting, alchemy, cooking, and baking can be linked (also not sure about the mills for wheat). Having said that, My LeanneG Waterview home is almost 3 years old, was the first mod I installed and is from Beth, not nexus or elsewhere, and while it has been updated by the author, I haven't updated, (way too much stuff in its various containers for me to want to deal with it) so she may have updated those stations as well for the newer ver. idk.

Well, all this above is what I did to the letter. However? What dependencies might I have missed? There was nothing in the "requirements" list. I am afraid the problem might be that not all storages are supported. I tested on the containers, cases and closets in Leaf Rest. That might be the problem but then: the simple chests in the cellar of the Luxury suite mod where not very cooperative either.
