Issue with mods being downloaded but not working

I am trying to use votex to mod cyberpunk and have run into an issue where non of the mods go on they are fully installed and turned on they just don't do anything

Same issue, none of the mods are working post patch 1.2

It's possible that 1.2 breaks a bunch of mods and they'll need updating. It also changes the load location for mod files.

I can get older mods to work by placing them directly in archive/pc/mod folder after 1.2 update. But going through Vortex just dumps them on the game root and there doesn't appear to be any way to change that pathway, so they won't work.

Older mods aren't always packaged correctly, it depends on the game, an older mod for Oblivion, upto Fallout New Vegas has a good chance of being packaged incorrectly.
