Dropping a spawned log dont work , at least i havent succeded yet. Cumbersome. Possible extensions: material (tree, stone, metal, meat..., size (,color)). A viking siegemachine, stonethrower would also fit here. Four slender birches bound together in the thick end, a square frame with each pole bound to the corners. A leather pouch connected with ropes to each slim end of the poles. Put a stone into the pouch, put your feet on the frame and throw yourself backwards towards the connected ends of the poles. Let go and off goes the stone. Works in real life so why not here?
