Preston got white spot on face (with ALL presets)

Hello,

 

I make "Fallout 4 - put Mods like Hell". :laugh: I really try to pay attention to everything but still .... Would be great if somebody know a solution and could help me with a little problem of mine. I sit here now more than a half day only to solve this problem. :sad: ... without solving it .....

 

Preston Garvey have a big white spot on his face (left side) and his lips (down) are a bit smaller / squeezed on the left side. Here a pic:

It's not a lot .... but: If I use other prestes / facereplacer he have this, too and STILL. And THAN it looks like this: https://up.picr.de/40925372xf.jpg?rand=1617819914

I can't remember to have installed a nother Preston Facereplacer ... probably I have installed one and have not detected. Must be inside of "something" .... Or I made a mistake with ... a nother mod.

His folder in "Textures" is empty.

- I had the original face "clean", everything was all right.

 

- I put this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16596?tab=description&BH=0 and the new face have the spot. I delete this mod again, the "old" face have suddenly the spot, too. Not as "white" but I can see it: There is something what haven't been there before.

 

- I try to un-install and to install this mod now (he gives me a preston file): https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21907?tab=description

(I know the HD DLC is not good, I don't have him!! :happy: But: This mod was the only one who could solve my "Brown-face-Bug" with normal NPC (not companions))

 

EDIT: No the "normal" Preston have STILL the spot (again).

 

 

EDIT AGAIN:

 

- I have installed the (really beautiful) Preston preset from keke-bu and I have the spot & strange lip. Before it was NOT there, his face was clean. I uninstalled the mod: Now the Vanilla face of preston have the spot&lip ?? WHATTTTT ...

- I delete manually my savegame, put a new one in the folder .... his face is clean, not strange spot or lip.

My theory: keke-bu's face-mod does not make a clean uninstall and "leave" something behind. OR it is Vortex, making an error here.

 

- I had a clean Preston face and everything was all right and I have taken THIS mod (only clothes): https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22696?tab=description

And you know something: The spot was BACK! :ohmy: But: friffy (who made the wonderful clothes mod) write: She use the keke-bu face mod.

My theory: friffy have created her clothes mod WITH the facereplacer from keke-bu and uninstalled it (the facereplacer) before uploading her clothes files. But she doesn't know that there are still some "hidden keke-bu face-files" somewhere. And so she uploadet them together with her clothes mod.

 

Question is still: WITCH mod of mine does not work well with the keke-bu face mod.

 

Next thing I will do: Install the keke-bu mod manually! Uninstall him manually! Could be that Vortex make some errors here at the installation

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!

 

ok, it was one mod that is required for this preset: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32764?tab=description

 

After I uninstalled this Kristin Mod (WiTH ALL recommended files!!) ALL Preston Face presets work again ... both. And the clothes mod, too.

 

Hmm now I have to see: Witch mod from here makes me so mutch trouble ... and how can I have my Kristin face preset AND a nice Preston at the same time!

I could not change something at Preston before! When I tried it he become invisible and was ... gone. Now: I can make changes again!

Update:

 

Everything works fine now, but I don't have Aerin or her friends in my game anymore. A shame cause they are BEAUTIFUL! Now Preston works fine and a nother preset I have for my female player works fine, too.

 

I have this mods and they seam to work fine:

So probably it could be this mods who interfere:

Oni cute asian face parts by OniNigma

 

 

NOT SURE HERE! :pirate:

 

 

 

I suppose I will install a furniture mod and the whole problems come back and no faces will work anymore ....

UPDATE: I think I was wrong .... :wallbash:

 

 

I start a "fresh" savegame without any mods: His face is perfect. I make a save.

 

I restart this save: Spot&lip are back and strange again ......

:facepalm: This drives me crazy .....

 

 

EDIT:

 

The lip is NOT squezzed, there are just "a few spots" on the left side of his mouth (not only one spot). If I give him small lips, you can't really see it, cause the spot at the lips is a bit lower. If I make him big lips you see it very good of course (spot touches now the upper lip and it seam to be squeezed).

If I give him a nother beard that don't touch the place you can't see the spot of ocurse. But whatever "bigger" beard I give him: There is always this spot, a hole in his beard. I tried differend beard mods: Always the same: Every beard have a "spot" at this place.

 

I have changed the jowls .... same like before, no difference. Problem is still: Spots on the left side of his chin.

His lip is normal, just missing "color and hear" at the lower left part ... and of course the "big" spot at his chin/cheek.

Right now all this mods are gone and I have still the spots .... I will try more: Next is the facial sculpting mod.

Update: Still spots .... next are the NPC and companions "collection". I have no preston facereplacer there but .... you never know

You won't belive me but: Fresh new start of the game, just a few mods and: Still get the glitch (I call it like this). Without the few mods I don't have the glitch.

 

 

I have suggestion what mod could it be but .... somebody could help me please and take a look:

 

Do you have the "Unofficial F4 Patch" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4598 ) and could take a look on prestons face? Even if you don't have a facereplacer, just the newest Unofficial Patch: Do you have fine spots on the chin (left side)?
