Trying to port a replacer mod, cant make it work

I'm trying to port a ring and amulet replacer mod from skyrim to SSE, I used SSE Nif optimizer to port my meshes and textures, renamed everything that needed renaming, but when i put the .nif and textures files on their respective places on my game folder the game just ignores them? it still apears with the old meshes and textures, am I missing something? is there anything else that I need to do so the game will use my new meshes and textures?

 

When I open the .nif files on nifskope they appear to be working fine, but i could also have made something wrong when porting the meshes on SSE nif optmizer?
