mellophonist
Well after tinkering with my Skyrim game for awhile I feel like I'm solidifying my list of must run mods. But while deciding on what to keep and what to delete, (rhyme unintended lol) I ran into one aspect of Skyrim I am still not quite sure of. So as the title says it has to do with water, I have used both W.A.T.E.R. and Pure waters in the past and I do like both of them alot. So to get to my point I decided to let you, the forum, give your opinions on which mod you think is better, and if there is another interesting water mod you think I should try out don't hesitate to share! Thanks for all your input in advance! -Mello
rhowington
I am addicted to W.A.T.E.R. when I do screenshots for my mods using RealVision ENB i find the quality fantastic. I like Pure waters but i just feel it misses something when using an enb. But, my preference is just that, my preference. I am sure others are completely different. pauderek
W.A.T.E.R adds lilypads and new types of vegetation, and the water is darker.Pure Waters is simpler and doesn't add any extra content, it focuses on water only, and the water is clearer. I used W.A.T.E.R but then switched to Pure Waters because I prefer simple things and because I like the clearer transparent water
EndtheMadness
I tried both. I ended up sticking with W.A.T.E.R but for no real reason. If you ask me, althought they're not exactly the same, the have the exact same effect. They make the water look great. DONE!
mellophonist
Thanks for the replies so far guys, I haven't used w.a.t.e.r. in a while I didn't know they added vegetation as well I might have to retry it before I make my final decision.

mellophonist
Yeah I saw that as well, I'll definitely reference back to that as I am deciding which to use.
BotOwned
I tried using both at one point to see how it looks I wouldn't recommend it ;)

shadowstrider
I use both WATER and Pure Water. I am not sure how I got both working but it is interesting because it seems that every cell i go into has a different kind. Some water will be transparent like Pure and some will have the look of WATER. However I miss the effects both had independently.
