Male Khajiit Face Texture Bugged

To help make a long story really short, I made a 2 minute video so you don't have to read a 500 word description of my problem. I'll just show you.

 

As Movie Maker likes to destroy my video resolution the text in NMM is a little hard to read, so let me put some screenies up.

In a nutshell, I have a singular glitched texture on my modded copy of Oblivion that is being stubborn. No matter what I do I can't fix it.

 

If I add a bump map texture to the /textures/characters/khajiit/ folder, it shows up. But replacing the base texture seems to do nothing.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm ready to start a play through, but would like to fix this problem first. It's like an itch I can't scratch!

 

PS - I don't mention it in the video but BOSS has also sorted my load order. I have no unrecognized plug-ins.

In your video you mention that you are using Archive Invalidation via NMM. I'm not clear on what you might mean by that, but you should be using Archive Redirection in any case.
