CTD *leaving* Dragonsreach when using USKP

I recently tried using the USKP (unofficial skyrim patch) and i had an odd problem that i haven't found a fix for and i never got a response from the author (unless i missed it). The problem is whenever i try to leave Dragonsreach, either back into Whitrun, out to the great porch or anywhere NOT inside Dragonsreach i immediately CTD. What's weird is i can run around Whiterun before i go into Dragonsreach with no problem but as soon as i go inside i can't get back out unless i disable the USKP. Needless to say i uninstalled it but i would really love to use it. Is there a fix for this? Is an absolute new character needed to use it? Are there mods that conflict with USKP that cause this problem? My load order is below...

Mods in yellow are my own custom made mods and they are the first things i disabled to test for conflicts

 

I've tried disabling all my mods on groups and it didn't seem to stop the crash. Should i just give up on it for my current character?

i know its a bit old..but i had the same problem! i solved it by removing the UnnoficialSkyrimPatch.. did you find a fix to use it without CTDs ?

..is there a USkP version more stable then another?

Bummer there's no more discussion of this. I have the exact same problem. As long as I don't use the USKP, I'm fine; as soon as I load it, I don't dare go into Dragonsreach because I can't leave without a CTD.

The CTD issue they are referencing was tied to a mesh from the USKP, but this was several versions ago, and the issue has now been fixed. Update your version of USKP to the latest version. If you are already using the latest version, then the issue is not caused by the USKP.

I'm using the latest everything - I just got my Skyrim PC (and started modding) last week. Cleaning the Bethesda update/DLC master files fixed the problem for me. I'm slowly figuring out this modding stuff. :thumbsup:
