Hi. Have you used dai mod manager before, by any chance?

That mod requires frosty mod manager, not dai mod manager, but I have encountered a lot of people who have switched to frosty just to use that mod when they were previously using dai mod manager before, and they had issue, because they didn't properly get rid of the dai mod manager merged mods folder, which prevents mods in frosty from loading. Could this be your issue?

If so, try finding the dai merged mods folder in your dragon age installation folder, usually the path is C: > Program Files > Origin Games > Dragon Age Inquisition > Update > Patch_ModManagerMerge, though location may vary depending on where you installed dragon age. Delete this folder.

Now that folder is gone, but the frosty merged mods folder may still be trying to reference it, so I'd advise to also delete your frosty merged mods folder (we can get it back and it should work after that, don't worry, we just want to delete it once to get rid of the reference to the old dai mod manager folder, but after it's been deleted it shouldn't regenerate the reference to the old mod manager if you followed the steps correctly.)

So navigate to C: > Program Files > Origin Games > Dragon Age Inquisition > ModData, which is the frosty merged mods folder, and delete that folder too.

Don't remerge your frosty mods just yet - there's something else you may need to do first, because dai mod manager tricks the game into thinking it's a newer update and so it increases the update version of the game, and the game won't let you load saves you made whilst you were using dai mod manager after it's merged mods folders removal if you don't do this edit first.

So, navigate to C: > Program Files > Origin Games > Dragon Age Inquisition > Update > Patch, find the package.mft file with determines the update number of the game, open it with a text editor like notepad, and increase the number in it by 1, then save. Check if you can load your saves then, if you can't then keep increasing the patch number until you can.

Now once you've sorted the saves, you can launch via frosty mod manager and the mod should work, provided you don't have any conflicting mods (i.e mods that edit the exact same files), and provided you've both imported and applied the mod, and always remember to lauch the game via the launch button in frosty and not via the games direct shortcut or via steam, origin or EA desktop directly.

An alternative reason why the mod may not be working if you've already checked everything else I've mentioned, is if you're using EA desktop, you need to use frosty fix to help load frosty mod manager mods with games from EA desktop, otherwise it won't work.

No, you cannot use both dai mod manager and frosty mod manager together, unless you use a specific workaround, which is detailed in the second post on this forum.

But depending on the mods you are using for dai mod manager, you may be able to load them directly with frosty mod manager, without the need to have dai mod manager installed at all, so long as you extract them first.

Not all daimods work loaded with frosty like retextures can go kind of wonky (retextures edit the images painted onto 3d models or the UI of the game, for example portrait mods, complexion mods, makeup mods, etc), super old daimods that are made up of folders instead of the .daimod extension cannot be loaded with frosty, some configurable daimods throw errors but some work loaded via frosty (mods that allow the user to customize the settings themself).) Gameplay edit daimods and 3d model edits that edit the shape of things like hair usually work fine loaded directly with frosty.
