KnightRangersGuild
Hi, I was hoping someone could help me with this shadow problem. I think it is caused by some .ini settings but I'm not sure. I'm not using ENB mods. The problem is that there is a Spherical shadow around my character about 20' ft. In the day time it is lighter, in the night time the shadow is darker. It is very immersion breaking for me. I would post a picture of it but it to hard to tell with a pic. Please help if you can, thank you. KnightRangersGuild
Yes I did and I can't find my backup, I was really just trying to avoid having to get rid of all the settings I have now. Do you know witch one it is or have an idea?
dant3s5
hmm, I think it's fShadowBiasScale, try set it to 0.5 and if it won't help post here your skyrimprefs.ini
Lopsang47
So did that fix it? I have this same problem. It has not helped me. I need to test it more but i think it occurs -- for me, at least -- when i enter third person mode and go back into first person mode. The shadow is like that of a torch that subtracts light, and it follows the camera. It is also accentuated by certain environments/textures. yangodango
Same problem here. And what's really weird is I only JUST started noticing it. And weirdly it seemed to originate from Solstheim. But I've read of others having this problem even before dragonborn. Looked through many pages and nobody seems to have found a surefire solution.
