Of course you can. I actually wanted to ESLify the mod, but for some reason i couldn't do it. Of course i'll try to do it in the future, but for now you can safely ESLify it (it has been compacted as well).

I don't use Requiem and I'm not sure how Requiem affect swimming. You'll have to figure it out yourself. If you find problem from using this mod along with Requiem, tell me and I'll try to help you as long as i'm capable to.

Should be compatible. That mod only slows actors submerged in water while not swimming (ie. before the swimming animation takes effect). My mod works when the swimming animation takes effect.

You can safely ESLify the plugin. The formIDs have been compacted as well.

Personally I would never cheese the mechanic like that since I try to play "immersive" without metagaming. But I'm wondering if you can still implement the vanilla drowning mechanic within your mod alongside your great stamina system? So a character may have the physical stamina yes to swim underwater for ages but if they can't hold their breath longer than vanilla that's still a good realistic barrier and prevents cheesing of this with stamina potions (how do you drink a potion underwater anyway??).

Great idea but basically, I am with Hyfrith2. You can be a marathon athlete but holding your breath is actually another different skill so maybe you could increase the vanilla water drowning mechanic instead?

Looking to use this mod but interested in knowing for future load orders before I jump in. So this is an ESP but it's had its id's compacted already. So if we wanted to turn it into a an ESL/flag it, if you update the mod and we update our own load orders with the new file it will ruin the save right? 

Just making sure as obviously unsure if there will be future updates and will probably just keep it as an esp to be safe.

Since the original file has been compacted, future updates will be based on it, which means that there will be no change in current formIDs. Should be okay to ESLify it yourself.

I thought about that too. At first, i thought i need to limit the influence of stamina potions so that it won't affect the Stamina mechanism too much. It's also seemingly impossible to drink potions underwater. Then i thought that restoring the vanilla mechanism is a good thing since it can prevent such things, but then i realized that it will defeat the purpose of the new Stamina-based mechanism since i want to make the character growth affects the capability to swim. So yeah, I'm still contemplating on what should be done about it.

Do you have any more feedbacks?
