I would not worry about companions too much, I designed the Island to be a solo experience, like in Demon/Dark Souls, I though about adding a summon NPC feature like in those games, but that's completely out of my capabilities, I'm still trying to figure it out the Bonefire off/on activation thing!

  6. Greetings fellow modders. JK here, I'm the author of the JK's series of cities and towns overhauls. Long history short, I'm a fan of the Soul series (Demon Souls, Dark Souls I - II, Bloodborne). I'm working on a new mod inspired by those games called Darkend, it's a new World space , a small island called Phalos. As the title of this topic states, I'm looking for a way to recreate the fog wall shown in the Soul series for the boss battles in my new mod, I'm guessing that some scripting would be needed, maybe placing a collision plane and a mist/fog FX at the gate and set them to initially disable, link both to a trigger and when the player walks trough the trigger the collision and fog FX get activate via script?? would that work??. I have no knowledge whatsoever about scripting, and I'm very busy finishing the levels, testing, tweaking enemy placements, ambushes etc etc, so any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, JK.

  8. If you are still looking for a answer, try disabling Arcania armory esp, I used to had the same problem, the Arcania base esp works well though. Hope it helps!
  9. Hello Everyone. I have this problem when loading Doc Mitchell's or Goodsprings General Store. Looks like the NPC and items on the cell load at the same point that my avatar spwans , watch the Youtube video link below for a better explanation. I'm running in Windows 7, over 70 mods, tried making a Merge patch, Master Update, last time that I visit those locations was back at the beginning of the game, and I'm 25 Hrs in, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1K8JEv7OshU&feature=youtu.be Update: looking bad, it also happens at helios one, a gas station near the NCR Mojave outpost and the Primm house where E-DE is.
  10. So far has been working 100% for me and no more CTDs every 10min again. Yes it is completely ok to do. Steam gives all users an option to not update any files so people can play older versions. Multiplayer games are the only ones that are required to update in order to play. Thanks for the tip!, sadly my system protection was turned off, arrrgh!!
  11. This just started today, it was working fine yesterday. When I click play, the launcher disappears for a second then re-appears and the game won't launch?! tried launching the game with the nexus mod manager as usual, same problem tried using the "Verify Integrity of game cache" option, in the steam game's properties menu, same problem, It did seem to reset my in game settings, and re-detected my hardware on launch though... thanks in advance.
