  1. One of the mod authors I contacted, and who said they'd take a look at this, has a mod that lets you talk synth settlers into siding with you if your charisma? is high enough. A bot synth detector mod, with that scripting included, could give you an option on the bot that would just have them identify the synths for you rather than kill them. Then you could role play the railroad route you describe. Here's hoping someone takes this up.
  2. Requesting that some talented individual consider making S.A.A.D. (Synth Acquisition And Destruction), a settlement bot (protectron?), that can be built in every settlement. It would identify, highlight, and kill synth settlers with the sabotage package/flag. Yes, I know there are mods that allow you to manually deal with synth settlers. I'm looking for an automated solution. I don't have the skills to do this, and don't have the time to learn them (I'm a nurse with very limited playtime) so I thought I'd shoot this idea to the community. Submitted for your consideration, -LLD P.S. I have submitted this to several mod authors. One responded saying they would look at it. Haven't heard anything since.
  3. Yeah, that's what my daughter was messing around with earlier today (outfit studio). She has the barefoot outfit working BUT she lost the physics. To anyone with experience: She swapped the mod body with the CBBE reference body. Then she copied over the bone weights and conformed the body to the sliders. Lastly she had to increase mesh volume in certain areas to avoid clipping. She had to delete the physics bones when she switched the bodies because it wasn't working right. Now she is completely lost with getting physics back onto the outfit without it breaking. If anyone can help with that, it would be awesome.
  4. Really love the outfit but really dislike the heels. I had messaged the mod author to ask for a quick explanation of how to do away with the heels in this mod and haven't received a response. I don't think they're active anymore. I'm looking for someone that can either explain, in terms a person (my 17 year old daughter) with intermediate mesh/texture outfit studio skills can understand, how to get rid of the heels and replace those with a barefoot model that will work with bodyslide for one particular outfit mesh: TheKite_HCD_DressCutoffPhys_Bra.nif OR, someone who is capable and can just modify the outfit, listed above, and can send that to me. You could DM me a file link. I didn't see any permissions info on the mod page, However, in order to not run into any issues with the author, I'd really prefer the explanation so my daughter and I can learn how to do this in case I run into similar issues in the future. 5. One would think that would be possible as you can, even as a user, upload multiple images to a mod page. If that could be implemented into the image share section I would think it would clear up some of the spam-o-riffic fun going on in there right now.
  6. As Mcjon01 described, on files smaller than 2 MB you don't get to pick a server. You'll see the server list for brief moment then there's a script that kicks in and starts the download automatically. Now it's just generating the error message I listed above instead of starting the download. -Deep *edit* As of 5:15 a.m. CST this issue appears to be resolved. I am having no further issues downloading small files. My thanks to the staff, it this was something you fixed.
  7. I'm having the same problem but on my end it's files under the 2 MB limit I'm having problems with. I'll click on the file, the server list pops up and quickly disappears and a new window with this error message takes its place: "This file has only recently been uploaded to the site. The file server normally takes between 30 - 60 minutes to update with new files so please try downloading this file again after an hour has passed." The last file I tried to download was last updated in 2009  I've tried Chrome, IE, and Firefox, all updated to their respective latest versions, and get the same error. -Deep
