  1. When using wrye bash should i check if the mod have folder structure ? I remember when i used wrye bash back in the day , some people mods weren't compatible with wrye bash installation. I had to unrar then reorder them in proper way then create archive and add to wrye bash. That is why i am not fond off mod manager. I honestly don't recall, but I do believe you are correct on this This is why I really recommend following a guide, at least for the basics Guides usually provide general information regarding how to use the tools they recommend, which should include such notes on Wrye Bash You could also read the documentation of Wrye Bash, as it should have notes regarding such possible issues Sorry I can't be more helpful, it's been quite a while since I modded Oblivion......
  2. You can see the title of the tab "Skyrim Decryptor - DELETED" The 'DELETED' part means that the mod was deleted from the Nexus This could be due to the mod author removing it Seeing as I don't know who the author is, I can't tell if they are still members of if they deleted their profile \ or banned, so it's tough to tell really why the mod is gone But at least this answers your question of why you can't find it
  3. I believe that most guides still use Wrye Bash for modding Oblivion At least that was what I used the last time I followed a modding guide for the game Honestly, I would recommend looking through a few guides, even if just to see which fix mods are recommended And those guides should provide better answers regarding which mod manager to use But no matter what you do, manual installation is never the answer, and it's not worth the problems it would bring
  4. It could have been deleted by the author, or something like that There could be different reasons for what you are seeing, and it is very difficult to tell from the little info you are providing I'm assuming you still have your browsing history from the past few days? if so, could you try to find the link to the mod you are missing? If you could do that, we could try to figure out what exactly happened to stop you from tracking that mod
  5. if you plan on directly editing the plugin that caused the issues, you don't need to worry about it (at least I don't think so) I also don't know if you have a bashed patch or not the idea behind those edits are to make Wrye Bash take the names from your plugin when you make a bashed patch, so these names will appear in game (otherwise another mod may override your changes, like the plugin with wrong names that caused this issue) if you don't make a bashed patch, this shouldn't matter at all those records won't affect your game directly, these are only for Wrye Bash and therefore if this works in game you should be done
  6. that is indeed an issue I'm not sure what could be done about the block maybe you could try contacting a moderator and ask them to contact Arthmoor on your behalf, and ask to unblock you not sure if this is the correct way to handle this, but it's worth a try. worst case a moderator will know how to handle this other than that, I still suggest using the save file before choosing the start option, and seeing if you can get a mainland start with that option, or to use a different option should be far easier than fixing the one save file you have, if it really needs fixing (again, it might work if you proceed in the game to an extent, but I really have no way of knowing for sure)
  7. try this thread https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2130514-what-is-the-correct-way-to-rename-items/ this should have easy to follow instructions on how to do this let me know if this was enough, or if you need any further help
  8. I would recommend asking this in the mod's posts the author is still very active and would know best though I would recommend that you explain what you mean by "can't travel to mainland". explain what actually happens when you try to do so also reading the sticky post, I would assume that COC wouldn't work due to the mod disabling some console commands, though I'm not exactly sure (Arthmoor, the mod author, would know best) this could be an oversight with this scenario, or you do need to complete a quest before you are allowed to leave there worst case scenario, just load the save before choosing that option, choose it again and hope you aren't spawned in the DLC again
  9. to me it looks like this second mod could be the issue for what it does, that plugin looks rather large, so the author may have edited other entries in it by mistake if you don't need it, try removing it and see if it fixes the issue if you still want to use it, you just need to undo the edits it had on any item. just find an item it edits (like the glass helmet) and simply drag the name from the main .esm to that plugin (or create a new plugin with the fix. honestly it isn't likely that the mod will be updated, so you should be fine editing it) if you can't figure this out, look up guides on editing items in xEdit, as this will be the easiest way to do this I could also try to help if you want, I'll need to see if I can provide informative pictures to explain what you need to do
  10. you could try opening you mod list in xEdit, find the item's information in the main .esm and see which plugins affect it to try and find which one is renaming it or you could recheck you entire mod list by going to the mod pages and seeing if you've downloaded a translation or something, but that would be a far longer process maybe try posting your load order in spoiler (to make the post readable) so maybe we'll be able to notice anything that could lead to the problematic plugin (maybe it has something in its name to reflect that it is in Spanish)
  11. technically you can only use one body mod some mods allow for NPCs to use different body mods which can give the variation, but this is the exception rather than the rule so choose one body mod you wish to use, and use texture and outfit mods for that body (unless other mods state that they are compatible with that body) regarding plugins, not all mods have them mods that are retextures or scripts won't necessarily require plugins the easiest way to tell is to look at the files the mod adds (when you go to download a file, you can use the 'preview file contents' button to do this, or of course you can open the downloaded archives on your computer) not all mods are easy to verify that they work correctly. if you have questions regarding specific mods, feel free to ask, though I feel reading the mod's description would be the easiest way to get that information (unless we know the mod, this is probably how we'll be able to provide any answers about it), and this is generally the best advice to give, especially for rookie mod users and as a final suggestion, there are amazing tutorials on how to mod these games. I personally am a huge fan of Gopher (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1CSCMwaDubQ4rcYCpX40Eg), but you should easily be able to find others with a quick search on YouTube or Google. these should really help guide you with the basics of installing and using mods, and should put you on the right track. or if you find a good modlist that suits you, that should also provide instructions that you can use to get the results you wish. so there is plenty of good information for you to find, all you have to do is find it  best of luck to you, and feel free to ask if you have any questions
  12. the plugins you are missing there are the official DLCs for Oblivion do you have them installed? not sure how they would show in Vortex, but from these messages you are either missing them entirely or Vortex doesn't find them maybe verify your installation through Steam?
  13. you are wrong in your assumption from the mod's description: notice the end, and also note that there are no separate plugins for the mod this means that the mod does require the Dragonborn DLC in order to work this isn't a Vortex issue, this is an issue of you not having the DLCs which are required for most mods out there the DLCs themselves are rather cheap, add plenty of decent content and many mods require them, so I would suggest that you simply get the DLCs otherwise, you would have to be far pickier about which mods you decide to download, and also more diligent when reading through their descriptions, as the DLCs aren't always noted in the requirements tab hope this answers your question
  14. I am running Windows 10 and have played New Vegas with TTW (so with FO3) with no issues can't recall the last time I played FO3 not through TTW, but I would suppose that it would work even on W10
  15. Honestly, I wouldn't count on seeing this converted and released as mentioned, we need permissions from the author, and they haven't logged in in almost a decade, so getting their permissions won't be easy unless someone could contact them directly via another method it is such cases that lead people to learn how to do these things themselves for their own private usage I can't recommend this, but it probably is your best chance of having these in SSE
