  1. *Laughs* That comment actually makes me want to do it now, haha. In Black Desert my main character's title is "Weird and unthinkable." I've always found being thought of as weird or creepy to be a compliment rather than derrogatory Maybe it's a punk thing. Of course, I won't do it, as actually doing something specifically for its reaction makes it uncool. That's a punk thing as well
  2. I don't know what applying a + to it means. But I do know there are mods which alter the types of ballistic weave you can put on items. Perhaps you have either a mod with an issue or a poorly installed mod?
  3. I wonder if I'm the only person on the planet who has never launched BodySlide and Outfit Studio from a Mod Manager link *laughs* I just have a BodySlide directory shortcut on my desktop, and I run the program directly from the executable. Yeah, I get everyone else on the planet runs it from their Mod Manager, but it's not necessary. I don't.
  4. I kind of miss the name field. I never used my real life name in my profile, but a lot of my Nexus friends did, and it made it easy for me to call them by their names when they wanted to share it. I'd see a name field as a better substitute to the gender field. If someone wants to be known by their gender, they could give their name. *Shrugs* I'll bow out of this debate now and leave it to those who feel strongly about it, but I do miss being able to see the names of people I follow in Nexus when they wish to share it.
  5. Against my initial judgement, I'm going to weigh in on gender in online forums not related to dating sites. I have a dear Nexus friend whom I met here through the image share many years ago, and we eventually spoke several times on steam chat and then even played Grand Theft Auto Online together for a year or two. The whole time I knew her we had and have strictly enforced lines. No flirting. Period. I don't want it, and she doesn't want it. But in my early days of knowing her, she talked about how she was stalked hard by somebody on the Nexus private chat. She had to ask for help from a moderator, and she withdrew from Nexus for a long time. She visits now, once in a while, but nothing like how it was 7 or 8 years ago. First, I'm glad people are saying gender (how someone identifies their self) and not sex (biological distinction). This said, and in respect for my friend lefttongue and my begging forgiveness for what I opine, I am not convinced gender field belongs on Nexus. We have an open ended field where we can say something about ourselves, but, I am scared of what can happen if youngsters or stalkers start viewing Nexus as a dating site. Please forgive my dissent, my friends, but I feel this sincerely.
  6. Face Ripper can be a bit confusing at first, though once you get the hang of it the process is a breeze. But don't be afraid to ask if you get stuck trying to use it
  7. I wasn't going to say anything, but since there seems to be a lot of disfavor for the larger mod tiles in the new beta view, I'd like to mention I love the larger tiles. And I love the black black rather than dark gray. As many of you know, I'm extremely visually impaired (I have at most 8% of my optic nerves left, have massive retina damage and aphakia, and when I'm outside my house I walk with a blind cane. I use a 55" monitor and lots of zoom, and larger tiles are easier for me to figure out, and more contrast between letters and background are likewise easier. I absolutely love the current version of beta. I do respect that others, probably those with good vision, want things to be smaller and less harsh, but with respect and appreciation, I dissent
  8. Try using the Face Ripper mod to override the NPC appearance in your plugin. That works 100% for me. As for being immune to LooksMenu, I've been told often that it's the FaceMorph intensity flag at the bottom of the NPC's record, and I've tried setting that to 1 and even outright deleted the field in my NPC override plugins, and that doesn't seem to help. The only thing I've found which always works changing an NPC appearance when it's blocked from LooksMenu is to use Face Ripper.
  9. It is sometimes annoying that half the mods created for Fallout 4 are Call of Duty or Modern Warfare or the like weapons (games which I confess I hate). And you're right, World War 2 weapons such as from Sniper Elite would at least exist and theoretically could be found preserved wrapped in oil inside bunkers. When it bothers me enough I use the "Show Only Adult" filter. It excludes a few things I might have wanted to see, but it at least blocks all the CoD stuff.
  10. I noticed my account was created in 2011 but got badges. I suspect the age of the account might not be the issue.
  11. Guardian, I don't understand why you're equipping and unequipping all the different ammo types. You can just additem to them. For instance, here's a copy of my batch file I use on NPCs fairly often. The batch file is called additems.txt, and I run it by selecting an NPC in console and then typing bat additems. ********************************** ;add random weapon from GuilleWeapons.esl additem fe07088e ;add stimpaks additem 23736 10 ;add random wig from Guille.esp additem 2d00144c ;add FG nails from guille.esp equipitem 2d0013b4 ;add FGXXX hands from guille.esp ;equipitem 2d0015a6 ;add charisma items from EasyGirlGuille.esp additem fe06d841 additem fe06d84b ;add arm armor black ;additem 2d00150e ;additem 2d00150f ;add arm armor invisible additem 2d00159e additem 2d00159f ;add random nude body from Guille.esp ;additem 2d0014c2 ;add random FGXXX nude body from Guille.esp ;additem 2d00159d ;add random no-heels nude body from Guille.esp additem 2d0015ae ;add Photo Light Dark single user additem 34000804 ;add Nuka Grenade additem e5750 ********************************* The game is also smart enough to ignore the equip command if the batch file is used on a race which can't equip the item. In those cases it just adds the item. For instance, if I target the additems on a settler child (from Family Planing Enhanced Redux mod), and the child cannot wear the french nails due to race permissions, then the nails just goes into the child's inventory. When the child grows into an adult, at that time the french nails will still be in the inventory and can be equipped normally. You'll notice I do NOT add ammo. That's because the game engine is smart enough to add the required ammo based on what weapon is added during the add weapon stage. For instance, I created my own random linked list of weapons which I like (mostly weapons from my own personal mod plugins). If the game which is added is a ranged weapon, the game adds a few of the ammo at the same time it adds the weapon. Thus if a mini-gun is added, the NPC gets mini-gun ammo at the same time. If a .308 hunting rifle or laser rifle or any other type of ranged weapon is added, just the ammo needed for that weapon gets added at the same time. p.s. I also don't understand why you're using the remove all items command. You could, if you wish, use the "unequipall" command to unequip everything, but that's not needed as the game engine will automatically unequip items in any slot for which you're equiping a conflicting item. Thus when you equip the marine wetsuit pieces, each conflicting clothing piece will automatically get displaced.
  12. I don't think the load order matters. I suspect it's part of the game engine itself. I've noticed that if a couple of dozen enemies aggro at me at the same time, my game crashes. I've noticed this condition since at least 2016, so I'm pretty sure the game launched with this weakness. For instance, back when the game was newer, I was setting up a screen shot where all the gunners in Vault 95 were around my character with time frozen. I made this mistake of saving my game like this *laughs* So I fell into a crash loop where every time I unfroze time, the gunners would all attack at once, and I'd crash. I got around it by turning on tcai (toggle combat artificial intelligence) and then getting out of their midst before restoring combat AI. Basically, I try to avoid situations in which lots and lots of NPCs aggro against me at once. So long as I don't allow all of a cell's NPCs to see me at the same time, my game has remained stable without issues. As I said, it's been this way as long as I can remember.
  13. This comment interested me, so I tried the linked mod. I kept crashing in the Pip-Body perks screen if I scrolled through my list of dozens of perks too quickly. I also often crashed when going into the perk selection screen. After several crashes (at least ten), I uninstalled the mod and read the mod description more carefully. There I noted the mod has an ini file, so I reinstalled the mod and edited the ini mod to limit the Pip-Boy frame rate to 60 (instead of unlimited). I use an Nvidia 3080 graphics card at all-ultra 4k resolution. Then I tested the Pip-boy screens again. This time I didn't crash when scrolling through my list of perks at full speed, but I did crash when looking at my Perk Selection screen. I suspect this mod is not compatible with the Baka Full Screen Pip-Boy mod which gives a transparent Pip-Boy and lets you see the outside world while you're looking at your Pip-Boy. As far as I can tell the mod you linked works as advertised, but for my game (possibly because I use a transparent, full screen Pip-Boy) it kills my game stability. Thanks for the link, though. It was both interesting and, I suspect, viable for most mod builds.
  14. I apologize for the off topic question, but I am curious on this. If we purge images or attachments after a few weeks or months, will it leave place holders showing there used to be something there, or will it simply leave a confusing post with no suggestion that at one point there was a reference image helping explain a comment? Bringing it back to this topic, I notice that most of my badges include a comment: "Earned before November 2023" This makes me wonder that perhaps there was a script or program translating an old forum database to a new one, and that manually triggered process might have missed some conditions leaving some members without badges. If that's the case, perhaps a cleanup script or program would be needed to run again, if that's still possible (perhaps it's not).
  15. I watched for mention of those scientists as well. They were not mentioned. I would have mentioned them, but I also have Commonwealth Slavers mod installed which greatly expands the experiments those scientists do. You're right, though. People don't often even realize there's a science lab of sorts in Diamond City.
