Many people say Lara Croft is "the sexiest female video game character" (see below 1) but do the characters "visual features" make people want to buy the game? Most gamers will argue that a good game is a game that has believable characters, immersive plot line and other things along those lines but clearly not all games are like this (from my opinion, most of the CoDs. There have been controversies in the past due to ethical reasons such as most recent Watch_Dogs Protagonist "Aiden Pierce" is a very stereotypical male video game protagonist (see below 2). But the question that I am asking is what really matters to you? What games are you looking forward to this year? Why? Do any of them have a ethnic (video game) minority as a leading role? Or do you not really care? These questions I have always wondered about and want to know the opinion of other gamers such as myself. 1) This one is out of 50 2) Stereotypical male protagonist (note, I understand not all protagonists look like this, however the similarities are very strong between the 18 examples) For more debates and such visit me here: Raptr Steam

If its a firstperson game, definitely 80-90, anything higher/lower looks strange (to me), but I don't play enough thirdperson games to know about their POV

In the end it all comes down to Bethesda, if they want the "pay" feature to be removed, it will be. Because in the end they hold most of the cards when it comes to "who has the rights to do what with their game". Valve is just a middleman (but that of course doesn't excuse some of its actions on this subject too). On a more personal note, I believe the Nexus option for donations is much better than just selling a mod. But this will not fly with Bethesda/Valve because they get less/no cut of the money if it is a donation, however they can take a cut if they are selling the mod on behalf of the modder (because legally they can take a cut because they are providing a service where they sell and host the mod). It almost always comes down to money. Valve (which to many) seemed like the beacon of light in a market full of money grabbing companies (easy example EA). Now they seem to be slowly turning into the complete opposite of what they stood for, and like most companies, forgetting who it was who supported them and made them what they are now.

Well i'm here to offer my help to any mod authors who would like a short 1-2 minute showcase made of their mod, my pc is powerful so it can handle pretty much anything (incase your mod has 4k textures and 50 billion lighting effects in one cell). I normally just make videos for new release mods but I make others by request. In case you like a visual... (Inside Spoiler) Stuff you should know... Yes, you might have to rip some resources (get permission first though, or could be banned) I cant think of any resources that are desert type (in vanilla)

Its is possible, I remember doing this on oblivion for one of mine. I can't remember for the life of me how I did it though. (It was sometime in 2008)
