  1. Hy there, since my I lost my Mail Account (cause of being inactive) I cant recive the verification Mail from Nexus. Which means.. Contact me on my new Profile :s
  2. Well depends.. If you have friends and enjoy some co-op action , CoD AW & Company of Hereos. Both titles also have mod support, like Fallout and GTA IV. Speaking of GTA and Fo3, well gta, make sure u have a decent pc.. the port is more or less crap. Fallout 3 If u like fps with open world setting and hey.. mods.. aaa lot https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/ Dead Space, if u like it spooky, grab it. Ooooooor you save the money, up to you.
  3. As above, the the port is bad, I also have some drops for no reason (8600k / 1080 ti). Also, the fx may have a hard/harder time with a npc filled area, since it's not rly a powerfull cpu.. at least weak single core performance in games, soo 30-40 fps, sounds okay. But yeah, the port is rly bad... Hmm, well u could try some ini tweaks and/or tweaks via nvidia control panel.
  4. Dunno.. mad max was rly monotonous (imo) :/ Anyway btt, Atm a bit fallout 4 / sse for screenshots and some quests.
  5. I'm bored since months with the most too.. But maybe I can recommend few games you may will enjoy like I did so far. Resident Evil Series, also has few great co-op title like re 5 (A lot titles are on steam) Check out re4, 1 and 0. Dark Souls series maybe, but tbh.. would go with ds3, I finished all 3, but wasn't rly happy with the combat/movement in ds1 and 2. Evil within 2, feels more like an improved evil within 1.5 but it's a-okay so far.. at least better than ew 1. Played ew 2 2x times on survival, 2nd run with the new 1st person mode. *only the random appearing ghost is a bit annoying.. Metal Gear Rising.. man I love the fights against metal gear. And hey, the pc version includes all 3 dlc's. Worth a look. Kindergarten, an abstract and a bit dark adventure game with puzzles. Alan wake, great game, great soundtrack, only the end is a bit meh. ALice Madness returns. Gothic 1 & 2, old game, but has a rly great world, story and mod support. Only the combat is not rly "the best" x) Stalker, well open world shooter with a challenge or bug around every corner x)But maan I had a lot fun with the mod Call of Pripyat. Thief series, or if u want a newer one, the latest thief. Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines + Community Patch  Condemend Criminal Origin, great slightly spooky fps. Dreamfall chapters, great fantasy story-driven adventure. *You may need to play the older titles first, coz of the fair amount of references, characters and decisions that involved plots from the previous games. Final Fantasy XIII / XIII-2 / lightning Returns, rly enjoyed the world of ff according to steam ~ 40-60hrs in all 3 titles. Assassins Creed Black Flag.. man the pirate setting was awesome. Call of Juarez Gunslinger, great and clever storytelling. *But would adjust the fov. Aaayye and the older Tomb Raider titles  but you can skip angel of darkness. Yeah performance is a mess, I mean have 0 probs or drops so far even with the hd pack (not rly worth the gb if u ask me... looks just slightly better, would say it's just shaper) But yeah it's rly bad Or all the broken quests and animations. But hey DLC Roadmap... thanks? *lmao 7gb update.. but I bet the most is from the dlc since u have to download the dlcs too these days, even without a season pass or so.
  6. A friend had similar probs, it was caused by an windows update. Sounds settings -> your sound device -> properties. - disable audio enhancement. - other format, dvd quality for example. - disable the "exclusive mode" (it allows apps to take control of your audio setup) - caused audio probs in cod. Or it's driver related, clean (re)install of the nvidia driver via ddu in safe mode may will also help. *Only try if rly nothing else solves the prob.
  7. No offence Since he wanna stick to 1080p, the 1080 ti is a bit over the top.. Depends not only on the hardware.. It's not like u have for exmaple to buy an i7 if u wanna run a 1080 or 1080 ti, but again, depends. Higher res is up to the gpu anyway. Next generation games will run above 60 fps.. Uh.. yea.. You can even run last- und current-gen with more than 60 fps.. And well, no It's not rly necessary.. maybe worth to think about it, but not necessary. It also depends on so much other stuff like the playstyle, genre and so on, also buying the matching one, not just some random or cheap 144hz screen. We alrdy have some nice screens with a dream quality (so far), just expensive. Anyway, op should upgrade other things first, I doubt the oem pre-built is a great base for future upgrades.
  8. Well as above, the port is rly bad, but keep in mind (according to your sig) you only have 3gb vram and a lot 2k and 4k texture overhaul mods. Try to run the game without 4k texture mods and also worth a try tweaks with bethini and the nvidia control panel, to squeez out few extra fps.
  9. Heat can/will affect the performance, the cpu and gpu will lower the peformance to cool a bit down to avoiding damage. 50c avg. is okay, only worry about when the temps reaching above 70-80. But as I said a good cooling setup and airflow will do wonders. + Jimmy's post above. Your options are limited with pre-builts, u see, u alrdy had probs with the ssd.. that's not so cool if u wanna upgrade it :s Hmm, well you could do one thing, since you have ~ 200 bucks, buy a decent atx case, a quality psu and a cpu cooler (That's stuff you can reuse over and over (up to one point)) and put the current hardware in it. For example Fractle Design Focus G (2 Fans inlc. so u can use it for 1x exhaust back and 1x intake front) or a nice modular case from be quiet like the pure base. But case is up to you since its more or less a personal taste, just skip the cheap basic line. CPU Cooler Cryorig H5 Seasonic Focus 550w, fully modular that's a nice feautre. That's ~ 160 bucks. Save the rest for future upgrades like a new mobo, cpu and ram/maybe new gpu. On the other hand, the 4th gen i7 is still good, just the oem mobo is meh ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
  10. Go back to page 1, last post, should help you. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6695612-help-me-upgrade-my-computer/&do=findComment&comment=60600932 But I'm wondering.. you have the same fps with and without the enb. I have a at least a difference between 5-20 fps. Anyway if u wanna upgrade, a pre-built could be a bit tricky, case size, psu may is an itx or other form and so on. Would also check the psu, chances are high it's a basic/low-end oem psu with low watts.. nothing I would use for gaming. A quality one is ~ 60 bucks. But before going to upgrade try some tweaks first and the enb boost.
  11. It is an improvment, 6gb, no slower ram and so on, but rly depends on your goal and future plans. Do you wanna play @ 1080p? Or do have plans to go wild with 1440p/144hz or 4k? Alternatively, 1070 / 1070 ti. You can get a evga sc black for ~ $450. Really I'd just like my setup now to play properly. I run it at a standard 1920 x 1080 resolution - my monitor isn't great, but I don't have massive sums of money rn. I do generally like how my game looks right now - I generlaly use a lot of 2k (and the occasional) 4k texture, and this really runs fine outside of the big cities. Just not having it dip below the 40s at the very least would be nice. Also honestly on the matter of coolers I'm completely clueless. I don't know what I have now but my computer gets ridiculously hot. How expensive are they? If you wanna stick to 1080p@ 60hz (60 fps) the 1060 is fine enough with 6gb and 192-bit. But you may still need some ini tweaks and via the nvidia control panel for a smooth/smoother gameplay. Beth's engine is sometimes a hit and miss in performance. Cooling, well check your temps while gaming, heat can/will throttle the performance. And you could open your case and take a look what u have inside. Since you have the i7 non-k, possible you have the intel stock cooler, basic, nothing special. A good one for example Cryorig H7 or be quiet pure rock~ $35 A case cooling setup with at least 1x intake and 1x exhaust would also help a lot. Most brands like corsair offering a fan pack with 2 or 3 Fans for ~ $25-$30 To make things a bit easier.. Is it a custom or pre-build pc? And what's your budget? Only running mods or stuff like enb and or reshade too?
  13. The 970 is okay, but for your goal since u wanna go with ultra settings and mods the wrong gpu (more or less). One probl the 3,5GB vram + 0,5gb slow one will have sooner or later a hard time loading all the stuff. *also depending on your resolution and if u run 4k texture mods, enb and so on. Anyway. you could try to tweak some stuff via the game ini and the nvidia control panel. It may can squeez out some extra fps. And lowering the resolution if u run DSR or real higher res. Rest of the rig is good enough, if you wanna have some fun for the next x years I would skip the 1060 (dont wanna say its bad, but eh..), go with the GTX 1080, just make sure its not a basic line like the asus dual or blower. aim for a gpu like the asus strix, msi gaming, kfa²/galax ex oc or hof and so on, better cooling and a backplate. Coz of the price, keep an eye on the market, got weeks ago a nice deal on a 1080 ti for ~ 750. *Eh and make sure it will fit in your case. Optionally, heat can also impact your performance, so what about your temps while playing and your cooling setup? And maybe a new psu if u wanna upgrade, but depends on your current one, quality, age and so on.
  14. Since gaming has no priority, yes ryzen is the better choice. I would go with something like that: AMD 2700x *If the budget is a bit "tight" 1700x. Cooler up to you, but as above, skip the aio, a noctua d15, bequiet dark rock pro 3, cryorig h5 uni or r1 will do the job good enough, if liquid - look at ekwb. Asus mobo like the Strix X370-F, if u need more connections like usb, asus crosshair vi hero. 2x16 GB Corsair LPX 3200MHZ (But that's up to you). Samsung 960 Pro 1tb m.2 for os and apps. And a good Drive for Storage, like the WD Black or Gold, min. 4tb. GTX 1080 ti, evga, asus, msi, galax/kfa², brand don't rly matters, just dont buy the basic line like asus dual or so. Aim for a asus strix, msi gaming or so (Better cooling solution and so on) *Keep an eye on the market, atm u can get few ti's for ~ 750 bucks like the evga sc black. PSU, well Seasonic focus gold or prime 750w (one of the top notch psu brands), with that setup you could even go down to 660w. Case, that's a personal thing, up to you, just dont buy a cheap one. That's ~ $2.5K without a case. What about a Screen btw. do u have one?
  15. Write down your specs, also have you change/upgrade the gpu or so? Anythingelse like mod leftovers or is it a clean install of Fo4 ? And well things you could try, go to /MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout 4 - remove both ini's, start the game via Steam and let the game create a new one -> jump into the game and check the fps. Maybe your Antivir causing the prob. - set an exception for Fallout, or temporarily pause your antivirus and then try the game. Disable the steam overlay. Check the connection, maybe the Screen is connected with the on-board chip instead of the gpu. If it's a notebook, make sure the notebook is using the gpu, not the cpu for gaming. If nothing will work, would rly try a clean gpu install with ddu in safe mode and install the latest gpu driver (no beta driver)
