  1. Use the console command to stop the quest and restart the quest. And a little advise, when you are creating/testing new quests it's better to uncheck the box "start game enabled" and start the quest manually.
  2. In the condition table of the package you can add the condition isininterior==0 on the player.
  3. You should look at how the system work for bosses. Deathclaws and bosses have special music playing when you fighting them.
  4. I believe the default setting on mod pages allows users to vote tags onto mods. So it only takes 3 people to vote on the missing tags and the problem can be resolved  Or have the tags automatically applied to mods depending of their categories? For exemple mods under the Transfer Settlement Blueprints categorie should have the Transfer Settlement Blueprints tag automatically appiled.
  5. In response to post #56143426. #56144051, #56148311 are all replies on the same post. @Ethreon Right, but multiple this. The same author publing 10 differents versions of this mod per day... for example Monday you have sluty Lydia, sluty Serana, sluty Astrid....etc, Tuesday loli Lydia, loli Serana...etc. 200 downloads * 10 mods per day * 30 days in the month... Quantity over quality @tonycubed2 It's true, there is good and bad in every system. But a system where the result will be an oversaturation of easy making-easy money-sluty-skimpy mods will make niche mods, and same the good ones, very niche mods.
  6. Add requierements to mods to become eligible to the system can be a good idea.... for example each mod must have 500/1000 endorsements or 10000/20000 unique downloads. I think this rule can dissuade certain people to get tempted to release 50 sluty version of Lydia mods per day and encourage quality over quantity.
  7. What you are asking is impossible. 90% of conversations can not be say by settler because of factions / voices / quests restrictions. More or less 50% of all conversations in the game involve unique NPCs and each unique npc have an unique voice. 40% involve faction and pratically each faction have his own pack of voices, for example : - BoS faction members use BoSMale01, BoSMale02, BoSfemale01 and BoSfemale02 voices, - Raiders use Raidermale01, Raidermale02 and Raiderfemale01 - Same for Institute, Railroad, Gunners, Atom, etc... So settlers can not say these lines because the voiced line don't existe for them. That mean same if you remove all restrictions, during conversations you will not hear anything, only texts will appears if you play with subtitle on. Only few conversations, between 5-8 maximum from Diamond, BunkerHill and Goodneihboor, can be use for settlers too... I think. But it requires a lot of work for pratically nothing and for have nonsensical dialogues for NPCs.
  8. Wrong. There are nothing in the lore saying the world is filled with peasants with very little intellectual curiosity or skills. Now few exemples : - Each time you go to Diamond City there are vendors selling fresh meat ? It means that there are hunters, hunting Yao guai, Mirelurk and other comestibles creatures - There are electricity in DC ? It means that there are electricians - There are purified water in DC ? It means that there are people able to build water purifiers - There are turret in DC ? It means that there are people able to build turrets - A more in depth exemple. For build turrets you need people with knowledge of electronics and people with knowledge of metallurgy. In the game you never see these guys but they're still there. You see, say that the world is filled only with peasants with very little intellectual curiosity or skills is stupid. Sorry ^^, it's just when I read your sentence, I immediately thought about it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2jPwMM7Do4 Wrong. Look the BoS, look the Pryden, look liberty prime, look vertibirds, APC and power armors. The BoS need and recruit a lot of intellectual minds and compared to the Institut which is only in the Commonwealth the BoS are pratically in all USA wasteland. Yes, but radations can. Funny. The Institute put a ton of Supermutants in the Commonwealth to destroy all settlements and kill every single person trying build something. When some settlements resisted, the Institute infiltrated some synths inside them before declenched a kind of "order 66" for annihilate all settlers from inside. The Institute have sabotaged the tentative of people of the Commonweath to build a government. The Institute kidnap, kill and replace some importants peoples by synths like the Diamond City Mayor for be sure that no alliance is ever made again (It's why the mayor hate the Minutemen and journalists) Sometime the Institute attacked by themself some settlements with their army of synth (like University Point). And after this, you come here say "Ha ha ha look at that ! The Institut is right, people of the Commonwealth are just a bunch of nihilist unable to stand up for themselves." Build is human nature too but Betheda forgot this fact or a least, deliberately rejected that... because Hey! How do you want to create a Fallout Minecraft 4 game if everything is already builded ? You don't know, we don't know, because it never happened, because the Instute sabotaged the tentative of people of the Commonweath to build a government. What the BoS thinks applies to all those who are outside the BoS, Institute included. No better, the Institute is the perfect example of why the BoS thinks that. Nope, they don't need the Institute technology. Since 200 years people of the Commonwealth eat radiated foods and they are always there. The Institue can keep their purified waters and foods that they want to make available only for... Synths ? LMAO so funny.
  9. It's complicated to juggle between game mechanic, game logic and real world... but let's try.1. It's more easier to destroy a faction without real chief and real rule than destroy a government with chiefs, laws, police, army, projects and finances. - Lol I don't know why people think that there are only peasants in this game... that mean Bethesda failed at this point. We need to be a little realist here and consider that all things the player can do there are people can do it too (build walls, create ammos, modify weapons, etablish electricity, etc...) and more, like fishing, driving vertibird etc... - IMO the world 200 years after the bombs created by Bethesda that look like a world where the bombs dropped the last week is a big mistake, mostly when you see how much all societies are evolved in 200 years in real world. Arrf... you know... the difference between the NCR, the Minutemen and the people of the Commonwealth, it's on the one hand there is Bethesda and on the other hand Obsidian. - And don't try cheating us with a Batman-esque words, what the Institut do have nothing to do with heroism ^^ 2. You know, you can come at me with the better plan for save the world, with the more logical way for do it, using your best rational words for explain me the whys and the wherefores... if you killed my wife, my kids, my friends and a ton of innocents people who tried build something with nothing for make their life a little better... I'll put a bullet right between your eyes. Because nothing can justify a genocid, it's that simple. - IMO we can logically say that there are more scientifics, engineers and intellectuals outside the Institut than inside. - Like I said before the world created by Bethesda have a lot of mistake, but let's try to explain that : . Why build a home today if tomorow all I make will be destroy by Supermutants ? . There is nothing to do and I hungry, so why not rob people who have something ? You just insulted all your ancestors, all those who builded this world with their hands. How fix the Commonwealth ? With a little farm, that become a big farm, that become a village, that become city, that become a region, the Commonwealth. They don't need the Institut and their technology.
  10. @Gilibran, yep it's exactly what I saying : you hanging your whole argumentation on the real historical Minutemen and you close your eyes deliberately on all ingame facts. And if you simply don't know how the FO4 Minutemen are, personnally I think that all they do INGAME give you a good idea on how they are and what they can do. Now back on topic The Minutemen becoming stronger than Gunners... childish fanfiction ? NO. So it's a game mechanic issue ? YES - Number. More settlements = more Minutemen - Advantage. Cannons for air strikes and Radio for more strategies and coordination. - Equipements. If as the General you give all your Minuteman settlers better weapons, armors and power armors, the faction is supposed to become better armed (It's not the case because game mechanic issue) - Trainning. If the Minutemen receive a trainning same basic, the factionis supposed become more efficient (It's not the case here because game mechanic issue) - Experience. With trainning and better equipement, chances to come back at home alive after battles is significantly higher and like a great warrior say ^^ "The best techniques are passed on by the survivors". (It's not the case here because game mechanic issue). What is the best faction then ? IMHO, in term of gameplay I will say... BoS and Minutemen because there are the only one that can help you on the battlefield. In term of RP, the Minutemen have the weakest questline.
  11. - What do you mean by basic training ? Everyone in the Commonwealth know how to use a weapon, there are more weapons than foods in the game. - There are no "true fulltime" or "false full time", there are full time or not fulltime. Preston, Ronnie, the radio host, the 2-5 Minutemen who guard the Castle 24/24 and all the Minutemen who guard the checkpoints 24/24 all over the Commonwealth after you beat the main quest are fulltime Minutemen. - I'm talking about the game, give you fact based on ingame content but you, you are talking about the real historical Minutemen who have nothing to see with the Minutemen ingame. The real Minutemen did not have a castle full of high-tech weapons, huge cannons capable of destroying anything pratically anywhere in the commonwealth and a radio that allow them to communicate with all the Commonwealth. So if for you the fallout Minutemen are the same thing as the real historical Minutemen and that the contents of the game do not matter, forget everything I said.
  12. You are kidding right ? The Institut has deliberately destroyed the Provisional Government and one of the last chance of the Commowealth. With a Government the Commonwealth would have been more secure and more rebuilded. Reconstruction means work for all -- that means a chance for people to live in dignity -- that means less raiders, gunners etc... -- that means a new hope for all Consequently, each time someone is killed or a settlement destroyed by raiders, gunners, synths or ghouls, the Institut has a responsability. The Institut implanted the Supermutant in the Commonweath so each time someone is killed/eaten or a settlement destroyed by Supermutants, the Institut has a responsability. They kidnap, kill and replace people with synth with only one objectif... kidnapp and kill more people. They are evil, they are guilty and they caused so much death that the only good sentence for them is the extermination. Nope they are not simply a bunch of farmers and yes they will risk their lives, not for the General, but for the Minutemen cause (In the game there are no faction that risk their lives for you and no one able to send "some topnotch highly trained special forces unit doing a halo drop on your position"). Few facts : - In vanilla game there are Minutemen who patrol between settlements - There are also some random encounters involving the Minutemen vs Raiders/ SuperMutants/ Gunners/ Ghouls or Synths - If you finish the Main Quest, you will see Minutemen in all checkpoints and around valuable ressources like power armors or vertibirds - During some random dialogues between Preston and settlers, he say : "Thanks. It's good to know. Remember to support your local Minutemen.". This suggests that each settlement is supposed to have a kind of Minutemen office or at least some fulltime Minutemen. Ronnie clearly say : "I'll get these kids whipped into shape, don't worry.", so yes they receive a training at least the fulltime Minutemen. When you ask for help, except if you are close, they will not respond simply because they will not see you. The flaregun isn't visible througth all the Commonwealth. But when the Castle is underattack and the radio call for help, Minutemen reinforcement come.
  13. Each time I see things like "the Institue are not evil", "as director you can make them become the good guys", it makes me laugth. It's like say once you become Elder you can make the BoS become the defenders of ghouls and supermutant, and make them happy to share all their technologies with them. It's a pure CHILDISH FAN FICTION. But for the problem of not be able to transform the Minutemen in a faction better than Gunner it's a hole in the game mechanic. The Minutemen are mostly settlers so why same when I equip all my settlers with good weapons, good armors and power armors they continue to spawn with rags and old laser muskets ? Game mechanic hole. After taking over the castle, according to different dialogues, Minutemen receive military trainning. So why they continue to spawn at level 1 ? Game mechanic hole.
  14. Always nicer when know-it-all morons reply in this fashion as well..... Hearing someone saying "moron" who is requesting a catwoman armor is pretty strange. Better luck next time! Meow! Hehe, kudos for this !
  15. Yes I discovered this feature there are few days... shame on me.
