bbiscuit220 Posted October 27, 2021 Share Posted October 27, 2021 (edited) just opened vortex today after a while and found extensions for a bunch of games i dont even own on steam (only have fallout 4) also a bunch of downloaded but not installed mods that i didnt download, has my account been compromised or what? Solution Dark0ne Posted October 27, 2021 Solution Share Posted October 27, 2021 Vortex updates its managed extensions (i.e. extensions made or verified by Nexus Mods staff) automatically without you needing to download and install a new version of Vortex each time. Even if you don't own the games, it will keep Vortex extensions updated to the latest version regardless to minimise inconvenience to you and other users.
