Would really like to see your website! We need more Oblivion mods.

Can't say I for one ever have so far... but then again in my case we're talking of company websites/business platforms I'm creating, and with my boss they'd have a very pi**ed business customer easily lost, if they did anything like that.
We're also primarily using WordPress at work. I've by now hooked into so many different functions with the plugins I created, I lost count ages ago. ^^

Chakaru, Darigaz, Mahtawa and Sasha had the exact same problem with their jimdo websites but they simply had to login and reactivate them.

They likely shut it down due to inactivity. They likely have a very short inactivity amount. IE if you don't put something on it once every X months they pop it (yes like a balloon). To them it's just storage space they can use for something else.
Wordpress is oft use as a base setup and hosting is elsewhere (hint of the moment).
The web is much changed since the days of Geocities!

When logging in I always get the error message "Couldn't load website". I cannot find any option to reactivate the site in the dashboard. The button with the three dots doesn't do anything anymore. Maybe they removed the option to reactivate sites recently. In the past, every site had a separate login. Now there's only a dashboard which manages all sites.

Hosting it elsewhere is a good idea. If I ever have access to the old site again, I will make a final post on the site letting the users know that I've moved to another site (as soon as this site is finished).

It doesn't matter anymore if the old site can be restored. I will choose another hosting service this time and hope that this one will be more reliable. Maybe I use a paid one. I never used a paid one before. Well, there's a first time for everything.

The design is overall finished and I began to fill the categories with my mods.

Yeah like full xbox controller support for PC - my ISP allows hosting of websites as most do as part of the monthly contract
