Known Compatibility Notes

The majority of changes made by Av Latta Magicka are done via scripts (with some exceptions where it was either impossible or impractical). This means that there are very few conflicts with other mods. If a mod you're interested in is not listed below it is more than likely compatible.

Other Magic Overhauls

Probably the only mods ALM will directly conflict with are other major magic overhauls, the most well-known are: Supreme Magicka, L.A.M.E. and Balanced Magic. I would not recommend trying to mash 2 overhauls together, but if you absolutely must try, here are the compatibility notes.

Supreme Magicka

Conflicting edits to vanilla magic items. Whichever mod is lower in load order will "win".
Overlapping scripted features. Both mods will attempt to run, with unpredictable results. Potential solution: editing ALM's and SM's INI files to disable conflicting features (not guaranteed to resolve all issues).
Conflicting edits to game settings. Either mod can "win" this, depending on the circumstances.

L.A.M.E.

Conflicting edits to vanilla magic items. Whichever mod is lower in load order will "win".
Conflicting edits to game settings. Av Latta Magicka will always "win" this.

Balanced Magic

Conflicting edits to vanilla magic items. Whichever mod is lower in load order will "win".
Conflicting edits to game settings. Av Latta Magicka will always "win" this.
Both mods have a feature to prevent stacking buff spells. How they will interact is untested.

Reanimation Effect?

The nature of changes ALM does to vanilla Reanimation magic effect means that any mod-added spells with that effect will cease to function.
Solution: either esp patching or adding internal support for specific mods in Av Latta Magicka. Currently supported mods are:

Potential conflicting feature is the amount of player's base Magicka. Solution: editing either mod's INI file.

Player Death

Any mod that tries to do something unusual upon player death may have issues with new Lifeward spells. Compatibility patches available for:

The mods below are not directly incompatible with Av Latta Magicka, but with one of it's requirements, Oblivion Magic Extender:

Custom Spell Icons. Solution: use Custom Spell Icons Updated instead.
Druid Mod Remade ?(uses renamed CustomSpellIcons.dll). Patch available in downloads section.
Paladin Mod (uses renamed CustomSpellIcons.dll). ?Patch available in downloads section.
Minionz - One click companion system will cause the game to freeze short after loading. No patch available at the time.
