We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated UI/UX Designer who is passionate about creating practical, simple and human solutions to complex problems which will help design the future of Nexus Mods – a service used by millions of players worldwide.

Together with the front-end team, you will be expected to work alongside our back-end development teams to release new features and to also take full responsibility for the look, feel and user experience of the Nexus Mods product suite.

We work as closely as possible to an agile project management scheme and every team member's input is highly valued - we're looking for someone who can constructively discuss and present new ideas in our meetings.

Due to COVID-19, we are currently working remotely, however as soon as government advice allows we will be moving back to office-based work.

You can view the full job description on Workable and if you think you would be a good fit, get your application in today!

If you're interested in joining our team, but don't think this is the right role for you then keep an eye on our careers page and site news where we'll be posting available positions in the future.

I would love to see changes to the UI of this website. As someone who moved from GTA5Mods to Nexus for RDR2 modding, I didn't find the UI easy to keep up with. At first it was a little bit confusing. For the most part, trying to find download links was not as easy as usual. After spending some time on the website, I could finally navigate through the website with confidence.

I'm looking forward to UI improvements and other website structure changes. Thank you for creating this huge community around single-player game modding!

: Wish the site could make a re-page on "My Profile" design. Our avatars are small, after a year I finally discovered how to add the "About Me" in my profile as crazy as it looks because the path to make this is almost hidden. Wish we could put some sort of background picture in our profiles as we do in our mod's pages to expand possibilities to express ourselves. Our profiles on the forum could be the same.   ;3

here's me just idly wondering, but Nexus and its business model should be eminently qualified to shed the old-world shackles of building rent and utilities and such; why don't you? Aside from those savings, it would also free you up to hire talent from a wider geographical area, which in turn (and with more growth) can lead to follow-the-sun support and dev models. As Nexus continues to grow (which seems like a given), it will allow you to scale more efficiently.

For pure tech companies, the office is effectively dead.

You're ignoring one important aspect of companies: culture.  Google might not be the company it is today if it didn't foster a culture of encouraging people to interact in shared physical spaces, exchanging ideas, forming relationships etc.

Dark0ne might have a certain type of culture he's trying to foster in his company that precludes remote working.

Aside from that, doing something cos everyone else is doing it doesn't build great businesses.

Word.

This is not pertaining to this topic, but COVID-19. Moving back to your offices is not gonna be for a somewhat long while, depending where you are of course. A lot more of COVID-19 cases are showing up after the celebration event of our new president of the US unless trump magically pulls something off with the three months he has left in his presidency ( which I hopefully doubt ).

In multiple cities with celebrations that we're being done is a great deal of moral & relief in the US, but after seeing people with masks equipped that cuts it down to a percentage preventing from catching the virus which is good or decent. But everyone I have seen through CNN was well within over six feet let alone some people I witnessed didn't even have their nose covered & even some mouths, don't forget no hand sanitizer was at there disposal which is completely illogical unless they did something off cam or I over looked ( I Hope ). I said this on a mod post a few days ago but I don't know which mod exactly but were in for a whole new wave of cases. Because most of the people was probably not 100% informed or they didn't bother with 100% of the protocol. We need to treat this virus like were being invaded, were literally gonna need military tactics at this point to contain this from going any further if that's what it comes down too.

If you already heard of these cases and took precautions, that's great. Others seeing this well I'd order groceries from Walmart and stay away from everyone lol ( Which is already the case :(  for me ). Overall this is just me saying stay safe to everyone no matter who you are, share this information to anyone you love or hold dear. & keep at least one eye on this virus before it get's out of hand again. Also if you want share please do politics or not.

If this is violating anything in any way please let me know how to take this post down, or if you have the power to do so then do it.

It sounds interesting, unfortunately, I have no real background in UI/UX design and I also live over 3 hours away from Exeter which would not be practical once lockdown ends (And also my sleeping schedule is all kinds of messed up which is not ideal)
