  1. i didn't understood you m8, this is only a brainstroming thread, anyone can add an idea the crazier the better. nothing conflict with the mod, i just state my concerns. it might me unwise to disregard dragonborn as a master because it add a lot of wonderful additions, it might be the same as shivering isles in oblivion, the game doesn't feel complete without it. but on the other hand i don't want players to force players to buy something in order to use my mod. sorry if i wasn't clear
  2. I believe that when i will have all the pieces the story will tell itself. the ending should be a bitter sweet one.

Nice ideas combining them will be fun. i like the invisibility cloak idea, it might be a clack that need a magic word to unlock it's power, a word that had been used by accident by the boy. @ Euenus: i don't know if i will be able to create a room that will look like that, i use vanilla models. the only way to receive something similar is to use dragonborn models and i'm not sure that i want enforce the players to have it.

I like to add a quest to the mod but i like to create a quest with a witcher vibe, a non linear quest with 2 or 3 ending (depending on the player choices) where there is no right or wrong decision only the lesser evil. I like to add another dungeon to the game something that will be connected to the cavern (might activate the portal, i don't know how to create exterior in skyrim so it might be an interior area but a huge one) I think that the quest will start in this way: you hear people talking about the missing children (oblivion rumors i missed you) this will start a quest asking to make a deeper inquiry, without any quest marker leading to the objective, after some conversations you will see winterhold citizens trying to kill two mages that only use shields to protect them self. ask someone and he will tell you that someone seen those mages giving something to one of the missing children and thy are sure that thy did something to them, the mages state that thy gave a coat to a shivering child. you need to decide do you want help the citizens kill the mages or calm the citizens down (calming the citizens down will result in seeing those mages using corpses as necromancy experiments in the hall of the dead later on in the quest, killing them might cause that some friends of those mages will retaliate against those citizens (all quest related NPC nothing that can break the game)). Will be happy to hear ideas.

  8. the player's server dosnt mean anything regarding guild invites, a bit after the launch of the game thy will enable the guesting system where anyone can visit any friend on any server. be it EU or US

In my opinion the reason for the head start was to spread the community, there are a lot of people that rush thru the levels some like to enjoy every second in that area, but all of the head start players will be far from the starter areas (if thy are not altoholic) same for pre order thy will be a bit far from the starter area. I dont think that i missed something the launch was fairly smooth, and this game is not a single player game where i leave the game after 20 hours i inted to play this game for years and years (played GW1 for 4.5 years with more the 2500 hours)
  10. M8s dont forget that this is the launch of the game we should expect errors, the thing that baffles me is that most of the new errors wasn't present in the BWE and stress tests. But the launch of this game was a lot smoother then skyrim, after thy resolved the huge server error the game run smoothly with minor glitches (expected in launch). I know i sound like a fanboy now, but every game have its share or errors at launch.

  12. @ginnyfizz: This community is what kipped me interested in modding, the reason i want to learn how to mod and give something back. I dont thing that Steamworkshop will be able to cope with mods like deadly reflex, unnecessary violence or problems like skeletons to infinity and such.
  13. I think that vanilla skyrim will be better then modded oblivion, from what i read the scenery is breathtaking, the draw distance had been greatly improved and there is better care for details. The trailer was made on an xbox and if i recall correctly the visuals of the pc will be greatly improved. Another thing, in a moded oblivion the player lose a lot of fps, body mods, better water, better LOD, draw distance (TES4LODgen+RAVED) can significantly reduce fps and so on. Making the game stunningly beautifully can reduce FPS to a crawl making it almost unplayable.
  14. I havnt seen land tearing, only the lod problem in this area, something that happened after i changed the archive invalidation. I feel so stupid for changing the archive invalidation due to the fact that i didnt had any yellow exclamation mark, and no reason to preform this change. I've seen a you tube movie about omod archive invalidation and this was the suggestion. Hickory: thanks for the suggestion can you please tell me what esps are suspected as lend tearing.
