  1. Do you mean Vortex? Nexus Mod Manager doesn't officially support Blade & Sorcery. Are you talking about the issue where Vortex wasn't using the correct mod folder name? That issue was fixed in March. In Vortex, go to the Extensions tab and make sure that you have "Game: Blade & Sorcery" 0.2.6 (or later). Otherwise, is there some other issue where you have to manually update mods? Mods seem to work fine for me now. If you have a bug to report, then you can click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Vortex and select "Send Feedback". That's a more direct way of contacting them.
  2. I take it you're on Blade & Sorcery U9? It's the current version of the game. It should say "9.0" on the bottom-left of the desktop screen when you're in the game. If not, then you should change it from whatever beta you're on back to "None" (in Steam Library or Oculus Store). For mods, are you using Vortex, or installing manually? If you're installing manually, then mods now have to go into a new mods folder called StreamingAssets\Mods. If you're using Vortex, then make sure that you've updated to the latest version of Vortex. I believe it was updated last Monday (Mar 15). Previous versions were renaming the mod's folder causing it to break some mods. If you're having trouble, then uninstall and reinstall the mod. Don't just disable and enable it. You can also right-click on the mod and select "Reinstall". This should fix any incorrect folder names. Always make sure that you've downloaded mods that are compatible with your current version. For U9, mods made for U8.4 beta 8 and later should mostly work. The safest bet is to use mods labeled as U9. The Outer Rim (Star Wars mod) has been updated so it should work fine.
  3. I have to correct myself. I looked at my bug reports and they did try to fix the issue, but it appears that the code was never rolled out. I'm not sure if they decided against it or simply made a mistake. I'm inquiring about it in the bug report itself. Hopefully they'll roll out the fix soon. Edit: They rolled out the fix!
  4. Vortex isn't the only way to install mods. We've always been able to install them manually. To do this, extract the folder from the mod zip file into BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods. U8.4 (and now U9) changed the location of the mods folder. In U8.3 and below, they went directly into StreamingAssets, but have since been moved into a subfolder called Mods under StreamingAssets. Vortex was eventually patched to used the new folder location. However, there's still a problem with some mods, especially weapon mods. If the name of the folder in the zip file doesn't match the mod name found in manifest, json, then the items can't be spawned. If you install the mod manually, then there's no problem. It's because Vortex changes the folder name. I've submitted two bug reports about this issue, but they won't fix it. They claim that it's the "correct" way of doing it and that the mod authors should be careful to name the folder and mod name the same. That as a user, you should ask the author to fix it. In my opinion, if the tool (Vortex) is stricter than the game itself to the point that it doesn't even work, then the tool is broken. I'm not trying to bash Vortex. I still use it to check for mod updates and download them. I even go and fix the mod folder names so that they work. However, I don't expect other people to do this. For more information, check Reddit, Steam Forums, or the Discord channel. The Baron (B&S community manager) frequents those places and it quite helpful.
  5. For dylbill's code, the NegativeDecDigits array is unnecessary. You can simply replace it with math. i.e. s += HexDigits[j + 15] Also, the "safety first" bit isn't needed because (1 / 16 = 0) in integer math. Thus, it can be reduced to: Furthermore, if you allow SKSE functions, then you can reduce the function way more: I haven't actually tested the above function, but the logic should be good.
  6. The files that you're showing in the red box are from each time you saved. Each file is simply the ESP renamed with ".save.yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss" appended to it. So you should just be able to copy and rename your latest one to DialogueTweaks.esp to get it back. My theory is that you were hitting Ctrl+S to save your changes (which created those files), but you neglected to actually save it over your working version when you closed the program. When you close SSEEdit, it opens a dialogue to ask you if you want to save. If you cancel out of it, then it's gone. If you do save it, then it keeps a backup of the previous version in the SSEEdit Backups folder (unless you untick the checkbox for backups). The behaviour is a bit unconventional, but once you get use to it, it's pretty efficient.
  7. Instead of roubleshooting all 3 ENBs at once, let's start with Clarity ENB. Which file did you give up on? I checked the links and they're all there. Maybe you're blocked from Mega? Here are original links to the files you need: Clarity ENBENBseries (try v0.262 first)Skyrim Particle Patch (Mega or Google Drive)Subsurface Scattering Patch (Mega)Enhanced ENB Night Eye (first file only)To answer your other question, you do NOT have to touch the INIs in your Documents folder if you are using MO, as long as you've modified the ones for your profile. Is the message that you're getting "Failed to initialize renderer"? What video card do you have, and are you playing on a laptop? Sometimes laptops have problems, especially if it can switch between integrated graphics and video card. Be sure to update your graphics drivers. Also, make sure that you are not running any programs that add an overlay to the game. For instance, programs that show your FPS or voice chat apps like TeamSpeak or Discord. Usually disabling the overlay is enough.
  8. You may want to use a CPU stress test program and check your temps. It's unlikely that Skyrim would cause that. If your CPU is overheating, then I'd say you need to check that your CPU fan is working properly and reapply the thermal grease between your CPU and heatsink. Look up instructions, as only a very small amount is needed. Slathering the entire CPU with thermal grease is actually bad for it. Also, don't reseat the heatsink without replacing the thermal grease. If you're not confident about doing it yourself, then get a computer shop to do it. You should also check to see if your motherboard has any BIOS updates.
  9. Your plugins are out of order, as indicated in your post wherever it says "Delinquent MASTER". Masters must always come before the plugins that use them. You can use the Sort option in the MO2 Plugins tab (right pane), or use LOOT. Otherwise, you can just move Dual Sheathe Redux Patch.esp to the bottom. The "red aura" is actually a red diamond with a white exclamation point. It indicates missing meshes. What race are you using in the screenshot? You don't need two different follower overhauls. Follower Live Package is much newer and UFO has problems. I recommend getting rid of UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp and RDO - UFO v1.2j.b15 Patch.esp. If you currently have any followers, then you should follow the UFO uninstall procedure listed on the Description page. You're using an older version of RaceCompatibility (1.60a). I think you should update it. You're not using Schlongs of Skyrim, so you can get rid of SOSRaceMenu.esp Get rid of Dark Face Bug Fix.esp, as it doesn't work. It even says so in the Description for it.
  10. I said Documents\My Games\Skyrim, not the INI files in your main Skyrim folder. The INI files are placed there and don't get replaced even if you reinstall the game or delete the main Skyrim folder. The ones you mentioned are used by the launcher I think. They're not needed by the game itself. You should restore your backed up versions.
  11. I don't know if the console version is different, but I've confirmed that Worn Linen Cloak is part of Wet & Cold by opening it in SSEEdit. It's part of a leveled list called "_WetRainCloakLItem", implying that it gets worn by NPCs when it rains. All of the items in the list are variations of Worn Linen Cloak, and they're all set to level 1. Are NPCs in your game equipping cloaks when it rains?
  12. You could instead install Recorder - Bugfix Patch SE. I put in special dialogue options to fix the situation where you picked up the record too early. Read the description page to find out how. it also fixes a number of other annoying bugs in Recorder. There's also an Open Cities compatibility patch, as well as a JK's Skyrim compatibility patch.
  13. Are you running it on a Mac, or running from a USB drive? Sometimes that can cause sound problems. If not, then try this: Go to Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition. Rename Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini to Skyrim.ini.bak and SkyrimPrefs.ini.bak, respectively. Run the SkyrimSE launcher (NOT skse64_loader). This will generate new INI files. Change the settings as you like and launch the game.
  14. All of the Skyrim Legendary Edition settings are found in the INI files, which are found in Documents\My Games\Skyrim. Check that they exist there, and that they're not marked as read-only. If there's some problem with them or they don't exist, then rename them (in order to back them up) and then run the Skyrim Launcher to regenerate them. Since your textures are not loading, maybe they're corrupt and Geforce Experience can't parse them. Btw, it's "Geforce" not "Geoforce".
  15. I believe that Worn Linen Cloak comes with "Wet and Cold" by isoku.
