  1. Ah, blocking topics (where the NPC initiates dialogue) will show up in perpetuity unless you check them to "SayOnce." That should fix it.
  2. Thanks, will try it in a bit, appreciate all the help. EDIT: Success. Thanks again for the prompt reply and fix.
  3. Ah, right, that probably would have helped. Thanks leaping lizard. Again, if I split the file into smaller parts, currently 550MB a piece, the thing takes. It's only when I try the 1GB upload that it fails, and always with the same error message.
  4. I can't seem to upload my mod as a single file, as I get confounding error messages. http://i.imgur.com/ep9QvGn.jpg Now, if I upload the mod as a split archive, it takes. As Nexus only takes certain file types, I have to put the split files (extension 001, 002) into another 7zip like some kind of File Inception. This causes tons of confusion and the raising of pitchforks. I am wondering who I can contact about such issues. Someone suggesting posting in this forum. So I am posting.
  5. Hello everyone, Jay33721 directed me here. My mod page is at the link below. There you will find the mod and a Microsoft Word file with all the lines and a brief outline of each character. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8429 Guidelines: -Make Sure You're Going to Complete the Project: I'm reasonably sure I'm going to get at least 40 NPCs, although I'm not sure how quickly I will reach that number(it depends on how much real life work I have). The goal is 100. But since each NPC isn't part of a quest or some overarching story, and simply for immersion, technically I could quit now and the mod would still be "complete." - Guidelines for Posting Auditions: My email is [email protected]. I know, real original, just right off the birth certificate. One of these days I will need a pseudonym. I'm thinking "Chaz." In any case, samples can be sent via email or on Nexus. Just one or two samples per character is fine. - Lines: The script on my mod page has brief character descriptions of all the parts OPEN PARTS ONLY, as well as basic voice requirements(male, old, etc). The lines are just all the lines without any indication of how the conversation branches, but is fairly self-explanatory. At least to me. - Deadline: Yeah, this one doesn't really apply right now, considering the lack of exposure the mod has gotten, and so there hasn't been much competition for roles. Yet. There was one instance where 2 people auditioned for an Argonian Serial Killer, and I ended up choosing one guy and writing a different part for the other(Salty-Throat, the Argonian Pirate). Basically, if you can act, and your sound quality is good, there is room for you. As for time, I usually get back to people pretty quick. Too quick. I will flood your inbox with inane missives. I am a serial e-mailer. Which is much better than a serial killer, unless reading causes death. In which case I suggest you run to the hospital right now after reading this wall of text.
  6. When I create a High Elf NPC with war paint and such, she looks fine in the render window, but when I visit her in the game, the skin is all brown and everything is removed. I'm getting the following errors in the creation kit: TEXTURES: Could not queue texture 0x 247d78f MODELS: could not find model Meshes\Actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\3DNPC.esp\00442D.NIF (3DNPC is the name of the .esp) I'm also running into the same issue with an orc NPC. Halp.
