  1. Is it possible to change the companion item pickup behavior to automatically pick up "junk" items in range?
  2. Just jotted down a few mods that I desire. Maybe someone will see something they like and be inspired: - NPC/Settler Auto Equip: If they have something better in their inventory, they should just equip it. I shouldn't have to tell them to put on clean clothes instead of dirty rags. - Power Armor enter fix: When you try to enter from the front, the character may get stuck running at the power armor, forcing a reload. Resolve by teleporting character, or even just quicksaving THEN enacting the run. - Power Armor automatic fusion core: When entering/exiting power armor, a fusion core is automatically deposited/removed. Fusion cores may be manually placed if you wish to leave it that way. - Power Armor Repair All: Repair all elements of your power armor with one button. - Rename Settlers (Manual): Allows an option to rename settlers - Rename Settlers (Automatic): Uses a name generator to name settlers - Rename Settlers By Job (Automatic): Appends the settlers job to their name automatically when a job is assigned. e.g. "Preston Jacobs (Defense)". - Idle Settlers Gather: Settlers without assigned jobs automatically stand near a bell when you are in the area. - Settlement Manager: Via a terminal, an overview of who is assigned to what, etc. Assign outfits to specific workers (or classes of clothing they can pick out of the settlement/wrokshop item pool). Ideally, for a good in-game cost, the terminal would allow for a form of "auto-management". e.g. You have 6 settlers, one on food (enough for 6 people), others on defense. A new settler arrives. Because there is no longer enough food being produces, that settler is automatically assigned to food. - Value/Weight Display: Display Value/Weight when looking at an item (to help know what to grab), and view and sort by Value/Weight in the inventory. - Weapon Strip: At a weapons workbench, be able to strip all mods from a weapon. - Storage Chests for Categories: At a workbench you can press a button to transfer to it all of your "Junk". At a "Weapons Storage Chest", you could press a button to transfer to it all of your "Weapons" that are not equipped or favorited. Different chests for different categories. - Sorted Storage for Settlement: At a settlement, various chests that use the workbench/settlement pool for their resources. The chests would only display specific items and/or categories. e.g. "Food", "Purified Water", "Raw Materials", "Weapons", etc. Now you can just dump everything at your settlement and sort it out later with ease. - "I'm Using This" Storage Chest: Open the chest and use a button to automatically transfer to it everything you are likely "using". e.g. Equipped/favorites weapons/armor, any food that does not provide rads, meds, etc. The idea is that what is left are items you need to manage. - Waypoint List Management: Be able to add a waypoint to a list with a note, and restore that waypoint later. e.g. You come across a locked chest that you want to return to later. In the pip-boy you mark your location as "Locked Chest (Advanced)" and move on. Later, when you've upgraded your skills, you can look back and check these out. This feature may be useful as well for marking a location that is automarked as "CLEARED" as "Lootable" if you didn't grab everything that wasn't nailed down already. - UI Overhaul: The PC UI needs a massive overhaul. Anything similar to Skyrim's SkyUI, or FNV's MTUI. Most importantly, consistent button presses. Right now, I'm still pressing Escape when I should press Tab, and vice versa. - Perk UI Mouse Scroll: Right click drag? I just want to scroll my mouse wheel.
