  1. In response to post #73653363. #73707298, #73718928 are all replies on the same post. Really just good for lunch breaks and quiet moments alone while the grandkids are being monsters in the hallway. Just how much this sucks on my phone, as type this there is a half inch wide bar at the top for the address bar, another half inch of the "convenient " black bar, 2 and a half inches of keyboard. Leaving about a quarter of an inch screen to type in. By the way "convenient " was ment with all of the sarcasm I could possibly muster.
  2. In response to post #73653363. Actually this sucks on phones. On mine I have the white address bar above the moving black strip effectively cutting off a third of the screen and the black strip follows you as you scroll down, really sucks. I can scroll to the top if I need the info on the bar, really I can, it isn't that hard.
  3. Get rid of the dumb black bar, you have cut the screen by a third. With the address bar above it and the stupid black bar a third of the screen is gone. This is a phone, not a lot of room to begin with.
  4. More crap they're trying to sell? have to update SE, Fallout4, and oldrim to fit it in, probably add-ons for the for the homes in hearthfire and other in game items.

Okay, did you ever think that a huge portion of the Nexus community might be just like me, and not want to have to mess with things to make them work. Is it possible that all of the "messing with things" that you all like to do might have at least been part of the problems that you experienced with Nexus. At least 950 Mods with no problems does say something. I even deleted the 350+ mods that I had for original Skyrim, let my grandsons take over that game, create separate profiles on my Nexus (so I could keep an eye on what they were doing) and they have been adding and deleting mods for the last year... you guessed it, no problems.

I realize that any comment here is like a fart in the wind, no one really notices. From what I'm reading it seems as though a lot of the Nexus community would rather spend the first hour or so of your gamming time checking load order, dependencies, and what ever the words/actions that seem to have to happen when YOU down load mods. Personally I would rather not. One button, activate, two minutes later I'm in game. Honestly I have no idea what you are talking about in most of your post, and I really don't want to know, I don't want to spend the next six months trying to figure out what your talking about or how to implement these things. Push button and play, an occasional mod that didn't meet my expectations, delete, and on with the game. Over 950 times, occasionally run LOOT, I have no idea what LOOT does, I just run it because someone told me it was a good idea. I don't want to delve into the inner workings and I don't want to know how it works. Push button, play game like I do now with NMM.

Well your right, I can only speak for myself and the countless others that have stated they had no problems with NMM and the old Nexus. And I am sorry that all of the problems of Nexus seemed to have heaped upon you as I've never had any of your stated issues, and I'm one of those people that if something involves pushing more than one button I have to call my grandkids. Also, using your logic. (sorry, I dont know how you quote someone on here so I will paraphraise.) "if a basic feature doesnt work for even part of the users". If a basic program doesnt work, for even part of the users, it shouldnt be implemented. Just saying.

Strangely though, I have downloaded thousands of mods and never had any of the problems you have mentioned, push a button and it worked. If I had wanted all the bells and whistles I would have gone to MO. I just wanted something that simply worked as advertised and in my case NMM did.
  10. In response to post #57603581. #57605851 is also a reply to the same post. What?
  11. In response to post #57589691. #57598431, #57599596, #57600696, #57607326 are all replies on the same post. unfortunately there are a lot of old fart's out here, (I proudly count myself as one, 60 years old really soon). XP was good, a nice step from 98. windows 8 sucked, too big of a change, too much to try to learn for the sake of ... aesthetics. at this point 10, a decent mix, still not really liked. I just want to push a button and have it work, don't want to relearn how to do something that was really simple a couple of months ago for the sake of ... aesthetics?
  12. Being quite the complainer about the new site. I thought awhile ago that I would just shut up and give it a chance. For the last month or so I have been giving the new site a "chance" to see if it would grow on me. Sorry but it hasn't, but why? Besides being headache inducing, it's the wall of words, the really bland pictures, nothing that gives your eyes a place to rest and nothing to draw "at least my" eyes in. Since it would appear that the powers that be, and the powers to change this mess, have decided that this will be the next format, I would suggest that mod authors really think about what their "advertisement" will look like. Over long titles just pushed my eyes along, because the difference in the size of the letters in the short description and the title is very small and just add to the wall of words, find a way to shorten your title and give my eyes a place to rest, draw me in, don't push me along. The art work. Because nexus has decided that flat muted colors on tiles squished onto the front page is the way to go, don't use grey on grey with grey highlights. your not standing out, I just moved over your mod.The recent mod that grabbed me and drew me in had a black silhouette of a winged character on a light back ground, some contrast made their mod stand out. A gray arch on a dark gray background with what appears to be a light hanging below it, or, gray armor on a muted color model on a gray back ground could both be the mods of the year..., probably not on the new Nexus site. Use color and contrast to draw me in, to interest me in your "product".
  13. In response to post #56276766. Unfortunately, we all have to go to 10 eventually.
  14. For something done with moble in mind this new site is incredibly inefficient to use. The old way on my phone, that I don't have all day to mess with, I'm at work, would show me 6 hot files, 6 new mods, the buttons to control it all, and some site news, all on the first page. Quick scan, maybe look at one or two, back to work. On the new site pull it up, 2 hot mods, scroll, 2 new mods, scroll, 2 new mods, scroll, scroll, scroll. Well I think you get the picture. Does it really have to be this cumbersum? Some of us don't have all day to mess with your site. As on the PC, incredibly inefficient, over sized tiles that give little to no information that your forced to scroll through to get anything, while on the old site 6 hot mods, 6 new mods, site news, and the buttons to control most of it was there on the opening page, no scrolling. Progress, really?
