  1. Figured out the problem. When converting the ESP in the CK I didn't export the facegen correctly. Anyone having a similar problem, make sure you export the NPC facegen by using CTRL+F4
  2. Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place to post this. If not feel free to delete it. So I have been converting FluffEisenkette's two race mods, Fluff's Hybrid Khajiits (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78718/?) (a khajiit race replacer) and Fluff's Hybrid Argonians (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78716/?) an argonian race replacer). I already contacted the mod author and got their permission to do so and then upload the files to the nexus. I opened up the original files from Oldrim in the SSE Creation Kit, updated the esp and all the face-geom for Special Edition, then optimized the head part nif files using the SSE nif optimizer. I also decided to edit some of the textures in photoshop to suit my own tastes. However, my problem is that for the khajiit race (in Fluff's Khajiits) some users are reporting that the ears of the khajiits (which use a different mesh than the head, but is still a head part) are showing up blue in-game. I originally thought that this was because the textures were somehow loading incorrectly or missing, but when I checked my files and went in-game to see what was wrong, I could not recreate the problem whatsoever. So then I thought that maybe it was the file structure of the mod that was wrong, perhaps I'd misplaced their textures, etc. But that is not it either. The file I've uploaded to the nexus is the exact same one that I'm using in my load order. I really want to help the people experiencing this problem get to the bottom of it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what it is that is going wrong. It also seems that not all users experience this bug, only about a handful. If anyone could help me solve this issue, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for your time. 3. First of all--thank you for that Windows 10 guide, it was extremely informative and awesome. So, I followed your suggestions and moved the mods in my MO load order (left pane) as specified. I have a question though--when positioning mods in the left pane, should I place them in the EXACT order of the right pane? This sounds like a dumb question I'm sure, but I ask because I have some mods that have both ESMs and ESPs, so I was just wondering about that. Also, when I run LOOT to sort the load order, it pops up with a message that says "Sorting made no changes to the load order".
  4. It's mainly been happening when I try to load a save from the main menu. I can start a new game and play just fine for about two or three hours, but then the game CTDs, and so I'll give my computer a break and come back later, but none of my saves are able to load. 1. I have the compatibility patches for the mods I use that are listed on the compatibility forum of the mod page, and have checked to make sure nothing is overwriting AOS2's files 2. I'm using a tweaked version of ELE specifically designed for ELFX--it's part of Neovalen's (the author of Dual Sheath Redux) SR:LE guide. 3. The Load Order in pastebin is my LOOT output directly from the application itself. 4. As far as animations and textures, skeletons, body mods etc. Do you mean move them in the left pane of MO? 5. In the left pane, Brawl Bugs Fix is almost last in my load order, I'm using the latest version (1.04) and it loads after all my gameplay-related mods and the rest of EnaiSaion's mods. 6. I have both of those RS Children patches in my load order 7. Dyndolod runs very last in my load order 8. I am using Crash Fixes--here's my ini (http://pastebin.com/txmfjHEM) I'll have to check out that optimization guide, I appreciate it very much.
  5. Hi guys, I'm not new to modding by any means, but I've been away from Skyrim for quite a while and have finally decided to jump back in for another modded playthrough. I want to get through this one as hassle-free (AKA, as CTD-free, lol) as possible. I've been following lots of guides and tips, reading up on safe and proper modding practices (and was shocked to learn that in the past mine had actually been quite terrible. I know. It's so hard to believe). In particular, I have been following Neovalen's SR:LE guide (Link: http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition) tweaked to my own tastes. I was just hoping that you guys could help me make sure that my game is going to be running as rock-solid as it possibly can, if you would be so kind. TL;DR: Help me stabilize my game for a new playthrough PLZ Specs: Intel core i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.6 GHZ w/turboboost up to 3.5 GHZ 16GB RAM 64 bit, Win 10 NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8gb VRAM) dedicated graphics Laptop, not tower 256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD Game is located in my steamapps under the C: on my SSD; game version is the latest update; Legendary edition; I use Mod Organizer, latest edition, the latest SKSE, I have LOOT, TESVEDIT, Wrye Bash, FNIS, Dyndolod & Texgen (the updated version).
