  1. BOSS _usually_ tells you when a mod should not be cleaned (i.e: convenient horses, guards dialogue overhaul...). Here's a guide to help you clean mods.
  2. Does it looks like something in this post ? My guess would be the Storm Atronach Purple Mist, but if it doesn't work, try to remove some of the 'eyes effect'. Once I had to remove an eyes effect (appearing at my feet... don't ask me how) before the Mist or it wouldn't go away. P.S: Why is everyone so quick to blame mods? The vanilla game is quite buggy too, you know?
  3. If you answer Yes, it will remove the old version of the mod. Since you want to install additional files you should click No, it will install the one selected while leaving the old one there. In my opinion you should always uninstall the old one by yourself when upgrading anyway, so I've never clicked Yes  err read the post wrong
  4. Reading the comments, it seems the patch 1.9 rendered this mod obsolete. Someone mentioned Uncapped Perks Unofficial Update, maybe you should give it a try.
  5. I'll try to take a closer look at your modlist later today but first of all, update skse. It clearly says you need 1.6.16 and you are still running 1.6.15 (I got caught too, .16 was a sneaky update recently  It may also be related to papyrus settings or other memory variables I think; I once used ridiculous memory settings and had "random" CTDs when opening a container with 38381039831903890312 objects. Be sure to use reasonable settings.
  6. We'll need a little more detail... which Depth Of Field (DoF) mod? Make sure bDoDepthOfField is set to 1 in your SkyrimPrefs.ini (bDoDepthOfField=1)
  7. Steam should be able to keep your Skyrim up to date. If for some reason it missed an update, you can easily fix that by going into your Skyrim properties in steam and verify the game integrity. Latest version of skse is available here.
  8. Do you have Climate of Tamriel installed? I tried to find what was happening in my game recently and found out the method used by CoT to make the night darker is by darkening the whole scene. Side effect is that all lighting sources appears dimmed :/ Edit: It seems possible to easily fix that if using an ENB (I have yet to test it personally) (Thanks to 999-jay-999 for telling people in the CoT's comment thread :D) Thanks to MISTERMOURAS for this: For anyone who is using ENB and needs to brighten up nights or interiors: 1) open the enbseries.ini file, which is located in your main skyrim dir 2) edit these entries, under [ENVIRONMENT]: DirectLightingIntensityNight=0.8338 DirectLightingIntensityInterior=1.9227 The above values are the ones I am using right now, along with the brightest of CoT nights preset and vanilla dungeons. You can adjust those values as much as you'd like, save, then go back into the game and see what suits you better.
  9. Well it does contain Viin.esp and Viin.esm .... ... ...
  10. It's quite hard to help you without more informations like other mods you use and stuff like that. Probably a load order problem, run boss and try to run reproccer again. If it doesn't help post your load order :)
  11. I might be wrong on that, but he reduced the damage since it can easily be added back with the reproccer (that you should be using with skyre, anyway). Less maintenance for him, easier to balance things with other mods. Good for compatibility! Here's some links that could be interesting for you: Reproccer / Balbor and Steelsouls SkyRe ReProccer Project / SkyRe ReProccer Compatibility Patches P.S: if you don't already use ReProccer, re-read the whole guide for SkyRe, you might have forgotten (sp?) something important.
  12. I'm not familiar with these 2 mods but take a look at Vanilla Reduced Textures: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14504 and TESV Reduced Texture: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/47
  13. I don't know if it's related, but lots of applications (i.e: boss) can't find the game's folder after you "Verify your game cache" or after a patch. To fix that run the default game launcher through steam to 'rebuild' the game registry. Maybe that will fix your problem...
  14. Not sure about Deadly Dragons & Diversified Dragons only, but Mighty Dragons has a compatibility patch for these 2. I use Deadly Dragons + Diversified + Mighty Dragons (with the DD&D patch included) and it works flawlessly as far as I can tell. Edit: Looking at tes5edit and it seems even with the patch you'll lose *some* functionality (a couple of special attack from deadly dragons and diversified) but most of the new stuff should work for all 3 mods.
