  1. Yes. All actors respawn where they died and resume their AI package from here. These mutants are generic ones with a patrol and a sandbox near editor location package but the problem is they also have a no low level processing check (like most creatures in game) so they don't use the package until you are in the same area. Try to uncheck it and see if it helps them go to their original location in your absence. It shouldn't have any impact on the game performance.
  2. You are right, good thing to remind people to keep their protection up to date and not forget to restart the antivirus as soon as possible if they really need to disable it temporarily. A Ddos attack (denial of service) is an overload of the server due to a massive number of requests. There are lots of lunatics in the world with a lot of time to waste doing stupid things.
  3. Good thing. It should solve most of the installation problems for inexperienced users or players using hundreds of mods... Taking over the OBMM project badly needed and Nexus shows once more it is essential for both players and modders. I can't help with the project but I am sure now he problems encountered with OBMM and FOMM will find a solution in the future (essentially intempestive overwriting on installation or unwanted bits left on uninstallation) The manual installation is still very useful, some users (I know at least one) don't have a standard installation of the game and the modmanager won't work at all. I hope you'll never remove this option.

  5. Sorry to ask that, but what does "skimpy" mean, exactly ? The translator returns skinny, emaciated. Filtering tags is a good idea. I personally have no problem with adult content but it becomes difficult to find something specific when there are 96 pages to browse.
  6. On second thought, yes, I could use help. I just received a cheerful message from Maxi2481 and it gave me the courage to resume the mod I abandoned to add residents to Primm ( on request). If you are starting tutorials it could be an alternative to the sempiternal vault74. I gave up because it is a lot of work for somehing I shall not use myself (I already have it in a masterfile) and the support is bothering me. What I would need first is texture sets. I made a mess with the armor meshes and the path need to be fixed in geck. It is easy once you get how it's done. Then create the armor itself and assign the textures, formlists etc. The levelled lists are already done as well as the characters. They just need to be placed in world, linked to an enabler/disabler and get their AI tweaked to send them in different places rather than wander in the sreet. The Ai is no done yet but the scripts are ready, you could have a look, they are very small and easy to understand. It could be a good start covering various aspects of the geck and not very difficult. The mod should be compatible with anything existent, except if a fool had the idea to completely delete the bison steve, the Vikki and vance, or blow the town entirely because the doors are needed for the activators.

  8. Yes, it is really stupid and misleading, the medical officer is perfectly useless. You find better items than his store on the field and don't even has money to buy the ones you don't need. and worse, sometimes with 75 doctor skill points the "doctor" can hurt the crippled character even more. And the field medic kit is almost useless, too. Once I got a crippled limb at the very beginning and the character made all the campain with only one arm because there was no way to get healed. Stitch made 45 points of damage trying to fix the wound in 3 tries and I gave up. So many bugs and flaws in this game ! Too bad, it was a good idea.
